Aisling Mc Govern Nolan - Psychotherapy Clinic in Ireland

Aisling Mc Govern Nolan

Rathfarnham, Dubin 16, Dublin
Counselling  enables you to process those emotions and feelings that are holding you back from living the life you deserve. It is my job as the therapist to hold you in the heart centred space  while you explore these emotions and feelings as you speak about your concerns. By gaining insight into  your emotions, behaviour and feelings you will feel more empowered  to make choices that are positive for your wellbeing. I find that clients often come to their  first few sessions feeling  anxious  and nervous about  what is going to happen  or indeed what to say. I assure each and every client that this is common and I therefore endeavour to put you at ease as much as possible. Every client's story is unique and everyone  is given the utmost freedom to express without judgment what is no longer working in their world My approach as a therapist is integrative and therefore unique to each clients needs. I pull from a range of therapeutic practices  which include CBT, Choice Therapy, Person Centred, Spiritual and Shamanism.  I look forward to joining you on your journey

Kinship - Psychotherapy Clinic in Ireland

Kinship

13 Pembroke Street Lower,, Dublin 2
Kinship provides a safe, confidential space where difficulties can be explored in the presence of another—one who offers support and space as you work to become more of your authentic self.Areas of focus include: Depression, anxiety, stress, workplace performance, relationship challenges, transitions, chronic illness, trauma, sexuality, sexual abuse, finding meaning, and more. Some people may begin psychotherapy without a specific problem or issue, but instead with the intention of personal development and achieving their potential. At times we may feel confused, lost, overwhelmed, or dissatisfied for a time before we decide to seek help. It takes courage to ask for support. We encourage the development of effective problem-solving skills to help individuals reach their true potential and begin the process of self-awareness, acceptance, and change. We believe that no two people are exactly alike, which means treatments are tailored to the individual through a Humanistic Integrative Approach. Our therapists use evidence-based methods and are trained to a Master's level. We attend regular supervision in order maintain the highest standard of care.

Connecting Mindfully Counselling - Connecting Mindfully Counselling Dublin

Connecting Mindfully Counselling

56a Marian Road, Rathfarnham, Dublin 24, D14HX74
When something in your life is not how you'd like it to be, or when you're looking for help and support for something that you're going through; perhaps a life event, a particular concern or maybe problems with relationships, at home, in school or at work. Maybe you are experiencing feelings of anxiety, frustration, fear, sadness or other emotions. Stress can be a part of this. Counselling can help you to better understand what might be going on for you and to find ways to effectively manage feelings, thoughts or worries. My experience is that clients come to counselling because they want something in their life to be different. I appreciate that it's often not easy to come to counselling. I welcome clients with warmth and openness and a non-judgemental listening ear. I am a Person-Centred Therapist and I use ACT, CBT and Choice Theory to help clients work through an issue or to help them shine a new light on an area of their life that is not currently how they would like it to be. Sometimes what we need is to be listened to and heard. Coming to see a therapist is a brave step towards getting support. Allowing yourself to talk about and express what you are experiencing might be what you need at this time. We often don't 'press pause' in our lives, and we often don't give ourselves the time or space to check in with ourselves. People usually seek out a counsellor or psychotherapist when they feel stuck or overwhelmed by a particular issue or difficulty. You may have already sought the help of others, such as family, friends or your doctor, but sometimes it can be very helpful to be listened to by someone neutral and where the focus is on you and your experiences. As a trained, experienced counsellor, I provide you with a safe, confidential,non-judgmental space in which you can come to understand yourself and your feelings more fully, and in which new perspectives and new possibilities for change can emerge. My role is to support you and facilitate self-exploration, change and growth. You won’t ever be told what to do or be pressurised into making changes you don’t want to make.  I provide you with a warm, respectful, accepting environment which is based on support and confidentiality.  This creates a trustworthy atmosphere where you can feel secure enough to work on any difficulties. If you have any questions or would like to arrange a consultation you can contact me in confidence either by telephone or by email: I offer an introductory consultation, with no further obligation, to provide the opportunity for you to explain what has brought you to counselling, to see whether you feel comfortable working with me and to assess whether we both think counselling will be helpful.

Counselling
Most of us, at some time in our lives, have periods when it is very hard to cope. This can be very distressing, health and happiness may suffer and other aspects of our lives may be affected.  Often we can overcome life’s difficulties on our own or with the help and support of friends and family.  Sometimes, however, we can feel overwhelmed by difficult feelings that won’t go away, or get stuck in patterns of thinking and behaviour which we can’t seem to change. Friends, no matter how supportive, don’t know how to help, or maybe we just don’t want to burden them with our problems. If you are finding life difficult, with issues getting on top of you or perhaps you feel overwhelmed by problems you are not alone, as these are very challenging times. It may feel as if you have lost control of your life, but there are ways to regain a sense of control in your life.  Counselling can provide you with a safe, confidential, non-judgmental space in which you can come to understand yourself and your feelings more fully, and in which new perspectives and new possibilities for change can emerge. My role as a counsellor is to facilitate self-exploration, change and growth. You won’t ever be told what to do or be pressurised into making changes you don’t want to make.  I provide you with a warm, respectful, accepting environment which is based on support and confidentiality.  This creates a trustworthy atmosphere where you can feel secure enough to work on any difficulties. The service I offer is professional, understanding and caring. I will treat you with sensitivity and respect and provide a confidential environment where you can talk about your thoughts and feelings. I believe that everyone has the capacity to grow and change.  This means that as a therapist I will offer you acceptance, empathy, warmth and understanding and a place where you will not be judged.
