Alot of pain was relieved in just first visit. A good in depth review was conducted before treatment started and this but me very at ease. No pain during treatment and I did actually feel better as it went on. Excellent!! So friendly professional! Fantastic result from just 1 visit so far. Was in touch the day after my enquiry I'm still waiting on other two clinics to even get in contact!! I had questions last night and today that were answered my text as Dr. Had lost her voice now that's some patient / aftercare.

Seapoint Physiotherapy - Ms Sinead OLoughlin

Seapoint Physiotherapy

Rating from 5 Reviews This has given me confidenceDes, Ireland, 28 Mar 17

I had three years of painful movement in upper arm and shoulder, partly due to the side effects of medication. One appointment has produced a considerable improvement. Message, exercises and some helpful insights into lifestyle continue to help this improvement. I chose Seapoint because it is a one person practice; seemed to have the speciality I sought and was well reviewed. Sinead inspires confidence; I found her to be perceptive and took the necessary time to address the issues I had.

Rating from 3 Reviews Felt greatShane, Dublin, 28 Apr 13

Very happy with this. It was nice and easy - quick reply to my enquiry, easy to sort an appointment and the treatment was great. It was a pre-marathon sports massage which was very effective - felt great afterwards and helped in the run up to the event. Will definitely be back.

Neck Pain
Back Pain
Dry Needling involves multiple advances of a filament needle into the muscle in the region of a “Trigger Point’. The aim of Dry Needling is to achieve a local twitch response to release muscle tension and pain. Dry needling is an effective treatment for chronic pain of neuropathic origin with very few side effects. This technique is unequaled in finding and eliminating neuromuscular dysfunction that leads to pain and functional deficits. The needle used is very thin and most subjects do not even feel it penetrate the skin. A healthy muscle feels very little discomfort with insertion of this needle. However if the muscle is sensitive and shortened or has active trigger points within it, the subject will feel a sensation like a muscle cramp -‘the twitch response’. The patient also may feel a reproduction of “their” pain which is a helpful diagnostic indicator for the practitioner attempting to diagnose the cause of the patients symptoms. Patients soon learn to recognize and even welcome this sensation as it results in deactivating the trigger point, reducing pain and restoring normal length function to the involved muscle.
