I had been struggling with an extremely uncomfortable caesarean section scar for nearly 5 years, to the point where I looked into surgery! I could not bend or stretch without experiencing burning, stinging, itching etc, basically feeling like I was ripping in two! I had quite a traumatic delivery and so the painful scar was just a constant reminder of the things that had not gone to plan. My scar was also very angry looking and hard to the touch. The skin broke open regularly, adding to the misery for far too long. I saw an advert for Scar treatment with Jo Dyson and although I was as nervous as anyone can be, I went along for my first treatment and can honestly say that I haven't looked back! After just 1 session I was able to bend, squat, put my socks on (things that I have not been able to do since my C Section in 2014). I have since had 2 more sessions and I can honestly say it looks and feels like a completely different scar already! My only regret is that I hadn't found this treatment and Jo Dyson sooner. I would certainly highly recommend this to anyone who is struggling with uncomfortable/painful scars.

Thank you, Dr Sam. I've been a fan of chiropractice since my original back injury decades ago. Once one has a 'bad back', one has it for life. Therefore, it's a problem that needs repeated episodes of treatment over time. Amongst the features that make me so grateful to chiropractice is that (a) it brings a degree of relief almost instantly; sometimes the problem is corrected almost instantly, within a single session; and (b) it is such a focalized treatment that relieves pain in areas that no other modality can reach.

I found Gavin to be very professional he was able to point out the trouble spot very quickly. He went through the exercises I needed to do and emailed me the exercise programme. I was referred to Mr Yiapanis due to a combination of things. An old sports injury flared up in my knee and I was experiencing post-pregnancy core weakness that resulted in constant back and sacrum pain. Mr Yiapanis proved to be knowledgable, resourceful, motivating and very empathetic. He explained the source of my pain well and was able to make suggestions, lifestyle-wise and daily activity level-wise that were realistic given my busy days as a mother. Most of all he was able to help me realize that only with maintaining muscle strength i.e. core and muscles around the knee will I be able to keep the pain away. I still do my workouts that he suggested fairly frequently, my pain very rarely flares up mildly now when I neglect my exercises for longer periods of time. I am confident in recommending Mr Yiapanis to anyone needing a knowledgable, trustworthy and professional Physical Therapist.
