I had lens replacement surgery with Associate Professor of ophthalmology Dr Derda Oder at BHT clinic in Istanbul. From the initial contact with him to the end he was very down to earth, transparent, friendly, knowledgeable and compassionate. I had researched and contacted many surgeons. He suggested lenses that would be suitable for each eye and on examining me when I got there, decided one eye needed a different lens which was £150 less. He immediately informed me. He is an excellent surgeon and Hasan, his lovely, capable interpreter was there for me at all times. All the staff are very professional and attentive. The surgery went well and the aftercare was very good. On my last visit, Dr Derda said to contact them at any time if I have any questions or concerns, gave me lifetime lens passports and told me any time I was in Turkey I was to come and have a free assessment. Dr Derda is also very well priced and I’m absolutely thrilled to throw away glasses that I’ve been wearing for many decades. I highly recommend Dr Derda and his team. I recently decided to improve my vision by having new lenses inserted in both eyes. From my initial appointment—where I received comprehensive testing and a thorough examination—through to the surgery itself and all follow-up reviews, the entire team, led by Dr. JD Ferweda, were consistently courteous, friendly, and highly professional. The European Eye Centre is exceptionally clean, well-organised, and equipped with what appears to be the latest technology. I felt confident and well cared for throughout the entire process. I would highly recommend the European Eye Centre for any eye-related treatments.

I had RLE surgery performed by Dr Petr Novak and his team approximately 4 weeks ago. The surgery was painless (really) The first eye was done on a Wednesday and the other on the following Friday, less than three days later. My eyesight, distance, reading and in-between are now better than I expected. I have a pile of redundant bifocal pairs of glasses which will never be used by me again, thanks to Dr Novak and his team.

I had a preliminary eye examination with Dr. Ebru Acar. The examination was professional and clear. I received good information about my situation and the options for the future.

The whole experience has been top class. I chose Praga Medica as they were competitive in pricing and because the reviews online were positive. Daniela was most helpful in communications lead up to the actual treatment sessions, clear and concise. I found all the staff at NeoVize polite and professional. A translator was provided however this was not really needed. The clinic is very easy to find, a two minute walk from the metro station in Prague. The actual surgery (I had monofocal lens replacement) was less than ten minutes for each eye (performed on separate days) and was painless. I have to say that I am astounded by the results and can see brilliantly for the first time in my life. I cannot recommend Praga Medica highly enough. The surgery has been life changing!
