I travelled to Istanbul with my daughter for her iLASIK surgery at Risus Clinic, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we felt confident and reassured. After my daughter’s successful surgery, I decided to have a consultation for my own vision issues. I’ve been dealing with hypermetropia (farsightedness) for years and had been considering an IOL lens operation. I would like to thank Dr. Derda Ozer for my surgery and follow-up appointment, as well as Hassan and Zainab from the MDO team. I am especially grateful to Hassan, who served as my host, translating everything for me and taking care of me throughout the process—from the airport to the hotel and from the hotel to the hospital. I will always be thankful to them for my procedure and for being such excellent hosts. I was well taken care of by Dr. Derda Ozer, and the hospital was well-equipped, with all the necessary facilities. My surgery went well, and on the same day, I was transferred to my hotel. The following day, I had a follow-up appointment. Hassan took me on a tour of Istanbul, visiting Aya Sofya, the Sultanahmet area, and the Blue Mosque. I am very thankful to him for being a great host; he speaks excellent English, explains everything clearly, and is a genuinely positive person, and treated me like an older brother. Regarding my surgery, everything went according to plan like we talked about before my visit. As for the results, I am partially satisfied and still recovering, waiting for the final outcome related to my squint eye. I remain in communication with the MDO team and have been advised to give it three months, as recovery times can vary. I may consider future courses of action later on. If I achieve an 80% correction of my squint, I will be very happy. After my surgery, my eye still shows a slight deviation, and the size of my operated eye is still smaller than that of the other eye. Overall, I am satisfied with the surgery and remain hopeful for the best results. I would definitely recommend MDO, as they are a genuine clinic, and the hospital they use for surgeries has all the necessary facilities and is based in Istanbul. They are a trustworthy company that takes great care of their patients, and without a doubt, they are neither fake nor fraudulent. The staff and team are very honest and generous.

In December 2024, I had a lens replacement performed at the Refractive Center in Prague. For several months, I had been researching both in Norway and other countries to find the best eye surgeons. I chose Dr. Petr Novak in Prague. I had regular email correspondence with the clinic( a lovely woman named Babora), who answered all my questions. We agreed on a date when I (and my husband, who also underwent lens replacement ) would come for an examination. I went through eye and health examination. The procedure was performed on Wednesday for one eye and Friday for the other eye. During both the pre-examinations and the surgeries, I felt very well taken care of. Now, two months later, I am a happy woman who can see and read even the smallest text without glasses. Absolutely fantastic! A huge thanks to Dr. Petr Novak and his team!

I came from Finland for surgery with the doctor. As the surgery would be 1/5 of the price of what I would have to pay in in my own home country. I visited the doctor and he examined me and took the time to do all the proper tests to see if I needed the surgery or not. Turns out I had been misdiagnosed and there was no need for the surgery after all!! Though I did not need surgery, I can 100% recommend the doctor since he could have very easily said oh yeah sure let's do it, and just take my money! Overall the doctor was very professional and I could see that he had a lot of expertise and accumulated knowledge and it felt I could trust him. More than that the doctor’s assistant is amazing, speaks very good English, and provided clear and informed communication along the process. Very thankful for their efforts.

I'm pleased with the doctor's professionalism and kind approach from the beginning till the end. The operation was heavy regards my eye location in the head, but the doctor achieved great results not meters of this obstacle. I can advise you to use this doctor 100%. Only I can advise any potential patients to do more research regards the operation before doing something with their eyes. I've gained a far vision not knowing I will lose my perfect short vision which is important for my day-by-day work. I only hope after a week my brain will adjust to my new vision accordingly.

Just had lens treatment for my eyes with unbelievable results the next day Dr Eser was a fantastic surgeon with no pain whatsoever and a really fast recovery. Using eye drops as they tell you then speedy recovery do not need my glasses anymore. Barak is the one who looks after you when you get there great man and caring and the clinic is spotless NHS you can stick it this clinic is on a different level trust if you want eye lenses or any eye surgery go to Orbit Clinic you will not regret it

The whole experience has been top class. I chose Praga Medica as they were competitive in pricing and because the reviews online were positive. Daniela was most helpful in communications lead up to the actual treatment sessions, clear and concise. I found all the staff at NeoVize polite and professional. A translator was provided however this was not really needed. The clinic is very easy to find, a two minute walk from the metro station in Prague. The actual surgery (I had monofocal lens replacement) was less than ten minutes for each eye (performed on separate days) and was painless. I have to say that I am astounded by the results and can see brilliantly for the first time in my life. I cannot recommend Praga Medica highly enough. The surgery has been life changing!
