Beard Transplant Istanbul

After years of thinking I finally decided to get a hair transplant on April 6th this year at Smile Hair Clinic. It was one of my best decisions ever. Before arriving in Istanbul I had some doubts about some things, but when I got there the doctors, nurses, case manager Alex and everybody made me overcome my fears and actually made my surgery feel less like a painful medical procedure and more like an unusual and unexpected vacation. Thumbs up especially for Dr. Firdavs Ahmedov, who is not only a very fun person but regarding medicine and hair transplant he is a, if I may say so, a "walking encyclopedia". The surgery itself was way less painful than expected and now it's already 6 days behind me and my recovery is going well. Due also to Alex and the team, who is guiding me through this process via Whatsapp. Thank you all very much, smiling people from Smile Hair Clinic!

After my surgery at Golden Med Hair (Feb 2022), I have tangibly more hair on both the front and back compared to before. The performing technicians were supervised by the main doctor and everyone was very professional during the surgery. Eman was very helpful and advised properly on the post-op care (no minoxidil is required). If you're bald, a transplant (at any clinic) will not miraculously cure the baldness completely. However, you can certainly gain a visibly "hairier" look (as opposed to a completely bald look) by harvesting grafts evenly from the whole donor area and implanting them wisely on the recipient area. Eman will take the time to discuss the options before starting the surgery. I fully recommend this clinic to anyone looking to gain more hair. They did a great job and listened to my needs. Remember, follow the post-op instructions carefully (this part is on you).

I had a hair transplant surgery at the end of September 2020. The operation went well, there almost was no pain and after that, it took only a few days to recover. It’s been more than 2 months now and I see my hair growing back, that’s amazing. I take care of my head following all the recommendations so I hope to see a decent hairline very soon! I would like to thank Dr Nagian Akbas and the wonderful team. They have done me an amazing transplant moreover with a courteous attitude, very sensitive and doing the maximum. The clinic is very luxurious and new. The transplant is done at the Estecenter Hospital which is also new and very clean. It was very impressive and comfortable.

All my questions were answered and information was made available to me. The operation went pretty well, I didn't feel anything after the local anesthesia. I am writing this review on the 10th day of my srugery. The coordinator, medical staff and the doctor, everyone was very friendly and supportive. Everything was done as committed by them before my travel to Istanbul. Doctor was easily approachable and was present during the surgery time which was my biggest concern before the surgery. After the surgery as well, I met the doctor two more times with just a whatsapp request and they accommodated me. Still the coordinator is in touch with me reviewing my pictures on daily basis and has committed to the same as and when I need. The initial results look good as the area that was committed by the doctor before the surgery is all covered with transplant hair. However, as per the transplant process explained by the doctor, it will take around 6 months to show complete results and I will wait for it to comment on the results again. I am hopeful that the results will be similar to be 5-star service that the hospital has provided me.
