Smile. I visited Mayfield Dental Clinic to renew my flexi front teeth dentures. First impressions of the clinic are very clean yet not overly clinical, with a very friendly receptionist. After my initial consultation with Deepali I was offered several options with pros and cons. This really enabled me to make an informed choice with continuous guidance from Deepali and Madja on the best way forward. The end result was absolutely stunning, which was over and above my expectations. Unable to smile for years Mayfield well and truly brought the smile back on my face again. Thank you!!
This morning I had a composite filling appointment with Mina and Julie—an appointment I had been dreading since I booked it. But I ended up working myself up for no reason! From start to finish, they made sure I was completely at ease. They even put on music of my choice for some background comfort, and we chatted and laughed the whole way through. It made such a difference to the experience. I also had a hygiene appointment the other week with Carol, which was equally positive. She was informative and attentive throughout, checking in regularly to make sure I was comfortable and understood everything. Michelle at reception deserves a special mention too—she’s super friendly and made me feel at ease the moment I walked in. Overall, a really positive experience from start to finish. I can highly recommend this practice!
I had a bridge for 40 years that perished and had to have a chrome plate with 6 teeth and fitted. The dentist was kind caring and professional in sorting out the problem. Would recommend this dental surgery.
Dr Ying explains every step of what he's doing and takes care to ensure you understand. He is the most thorough dentist I have ever encountered, whether he is doing a basic check-up, a hygiene clean/scrape, or a more complicated dental procedure. I recommend him wholeheartedly. In addition, I find the practice fees to be very fair and the staff to be engaging, polite and efficient. This is definitely a fortuitous find!
I was a patient of Andy Kershbaumer 22 years ago and he was brilliant. I fully agree with another reviewer in that I never experienced pain when getting treatment. I am back in Scotland and after two visits stopped going to the dentist as they were vicious. Andy was always friendly and I hope he continues to prosper.

My first impression of this Clinic was that I felt welcome, and the communication with staff made me very comfortable. It was like visiting family. I had extensive dental procedures including root canals, bridges, teeth whitening etc and was extremely pleased with the outcome. Octavia House Dental Practice is the best dentist I have experienced. I have suffered from severe dental phobia for most of my life after bad experiences as a child. When I came to Octavia House my dental hygiene was very poor. I have had fillings, extractions, root canals, hygienists and general checkup at this dentist and I have never experienced a single moment of pain, I would even go so far as to say the team there have cured me of a lifelong debilitating dental phobia through there skilled care and compassion.
