Dickon Adams Dental

GDC No. 60458. Dickon qualified form Bristol University in 1985. He initially worked at the Queen Victoria Hospital, East Grinstead before moving in to general practice. He has worked at a number of practices in Sussex as well as owning one in Cuckfield for a number of years. He worked in a Dental Practice in Steyning for 12 years before starting his own independent list at MDS Dental Care in Brighton in July 2014. He also works for a couple of days a week at Burgess Hill Dental Care. Dickon is keen to provide an excellent service – both in quality of dentistry and quality of service. He regularly attends postgraduate training and so has a wide knowledge of all areas of dentistry. He has a particular interest in root canal work and has been taking referrals from other dentists for the last 7 years. He is always looking at ways to improve the service he offers by looking at new techniques and materials. Although he considers the most important ingredient to being a first class professional is caring about patients and the work you do for them. He is married and has two daughters. He enjoys outdoor pursuits and teaches this to 9 -13 year olds at Hurstpierpoint College a couple of afternoons a week, as well as leading an annual trip to Snowdonia. He has in the past been very involved with Sussex Netball, his wife’s passion. Up until a few years ago he umpired nationally at Super League level and previously umpired at International level, one of only four men ever to hold this position in England. In this role he travelled to Malaysia and Australia. Currently he is Chairman of the Mid Sussex Netball League. He is a member of the Hurstpierpoint Evangelical Church.

have been a dental nurse for five years now. I am a registered dental nurse and hold the NVQ Level 3 dental nursing qulification. I have previously worked in a caring capacity with adults and children. This has helped me with the empathy and caring approach that I need for my current role. Along with Dickon, my role is to help you feel comfortable and well looked after. I know that dental treatment can be a stressful business, so will do all we can to make it easier for you. I have two grown up boys who still keep me busy. I enjoy country walks , cycling when the weather is fine and reading a good book.
