Great care is taken to explain issues and treatment needed

4.5 50 Dentist Consultation, Hygienist Session

I had several problems, including gum disease and had no confidence that my NHS dentist was treating it as well as she might. A friend recommended The Mead and I am very glad that she did. Laura is very thorough and while I realise I need a lot of work she is sensitive about the cost and is prioritising treatment.

I agree that the charges are high but the I found both Laura and the hygienist to be very gentle and showed a lot of concern for my comfort during treatment. Great care is taken to explain issues and treatment needed. Having always used national health dentists I am now a convert to this practice and would recommend it to anyone but particularly to those who are nervous about dental visits.

Highly recommend

root canal treatment

Receptionists were extremely helpful and accommodating. I had previously seen two dentists who were unable to locate my problem. Richard diagnosed my issues within minutes, he was gentle and explained the process during the procedure - you get what you pay for, as the saying goes. I would highly recommend him.

Very dear

I have to say its very, very, very dear. Check up alone about an hour. I want fifteen minutes and it was about hundred for the check up.

ualified from the University of Wales, Cardiff in 1990. She has worked in general practice in South Wales, Devon, Australia and New Zealand. She spent some time in a paediatric post in Australia. Laura has settled in the area and joined the practice in 2001

She joined the practice after many years as a dentist in private practice and a lecturer at the University of Witwatersrand in the city of Johannesberg, South Africa.
