I was seen by Shelby the hygienist today and was given the best care possible. I was really nervous due to an unpleasant experience at another practice, and Shelby was patient and understanding, gentle and really competent. If you have had a bad experience and are looking for a new dentist, having seen a dentist here, and their hygienist, I can heartily recommend Life Dental. The reception team are friendly too. Dapo and the team make for excellent preventive care and treatment. The reception and the premises are generally very reassuring and friendly. I actually enjoy seeing my dentist! I recently had an old filling repaired after a problem was picked up by the hygienist, Hannah. I have a payment policy with the practice which is very good value for all the standard reviews and treatment I have ever needed. Explanations are good and questions are welcomed. Over many years I have found Dapo and her colleagues to be kind, gentle, impressive clinicians with a consistent commitment to getting things right, which from a patient perspective is so welcome. I have complete confidence in Dental 397 and thoroughly recommend the practice.

My appointment was for a consultation with a view to having dental implant work done. My dentist had recommended two local dental practices and this was the second one I visited. Smile seemed to me to be doing the work over a longer timescale which I felt was better in order to allow sufficient time for healing which would in turn give a more viable result.

I cannot thank Jo Giddy enough for the excellent work she has done in providing me with new dentures. The attention to detail in making the new dentures look so natural and fit so precisely is much appreciated. Jo took several impressions to ensure that the new metal horseshoe-shaped dentures fit with no gaps for food traps, were exceptionally comfortable to wear, and provided me with a smile that looked natural. Previously, I had a denture that made me embarrassed to smile, due to my teeth being uneven from gum disease. Now, I can smile for the first time in many years and eat food that was previously impossible to eat. Thank you, Jo, for your patience and attention to detail in providing me with a denture that will last for the rest of my life. I would recommend Hygeia to anyone who may be looking for a dentist who takes pride in her work and always puts her patients first.
