My name is Denise McConnell, I'm 54 and I live in Sydney Australia. Having been to Phuket before for dental work,15 years ago, I decided to go to the Philippines as I had never been there before. I had researched dentists in Manila and I was very impressed with the reviews on Cillio Smile Design. Dr Patrick's family have been in the dental industry for four decades, so they are experts in dentistry. Dr Patrick's sister and brother are also studying to become dentists. I also had the pleasure of meeting Dr Patrick's mother who is also a dentist. My experience with Cillo Smile Design was brilliant. From my initial email inquiry in late November 2019, I received a personal call from Dr Patrick Cillo, the owner of the company within a couple of hours. I travelled to the Philippines in early December 2019. My first appointment went very well. Dr Patrick is a very caring dentist with a friendly, calm manner. His experience and qualifications are of the highest standard. Dr Patrick explained everything clearly and then he introduced me to the dental surgeon Dr Betc, who also has a wonderful manner and together they made me feel very comfortable with the work that I had ahead of me. Dr Patrick also offered me treatments that I had never had before, for example, a "bite analysis", and "infrared bacterial cleaning" at no extra charge. He also provided some great tourist advice. Dr Betc also assisted in arranging accommodation closer to the clinic as I had to extend my stay. As time was limited, implants were not an option. My treatment plan consisted of 7 crowns, 1 bridge, 2 filling replacements, 4 extractions, 1 of them a wisdom tooth and a prosthetic plate made. All done with precision and at a quarter of the cost, I would have paid in Australia. Two of the extractions were highly infected which included a wisdom tooth. Dr Betc did a sterling job in removing the offending teeth and I was grateful for the excellent care and attention she provided in removing the infections. I can't say it was pain-free, as the infections were serious and massive. The infections had impacted my health and cost is what lead me to investigate my options overseas. However, the quality of work and materials used at Cillo Smile Design is of the highest quality. I had spent almost $4000.00 dollars in Sydney two weeks prior and they basically gave me the run around with a dentist visit than a recommendation to an Endodontist, which resulted in band-aiding the problem. Dr Betc and Dr Patrick were both shocked at the treatment I received in Sydney and the price I paid. I plan on launching a complaint with the dental tribunal in Sydney. Dr Patrick's eye for detail and photos and xray's provided me with an in-depth look at how things were progressing. Dr Patrick and Dr Betc are both meticulous and I am extremely happy with my entire experience. I felt like I was part of their family as they made feel so welcome. The two lovely assistants are very attentive and always kept in contact, to remind me of my appointments and check up on me. They were also very friendly and made time to talk to me and make me feel welcome. Considering Dr Patrick and Dr Betc are under 30 years of age. Their experience and qualifications are of a superior standard and extremely impressive, compared to the dentists that I have dealt with in Sydney. Overall my experience was excellent! I look forward to returning in the future to have implants. I would highly recommend anyone considering dental work, from fillings to implants to seriously consider Cillo Smile Design.
