Digital Panoramic Dental X-Ray Panoramic X-ray shows the entire mouth. The image includes all the teeth in the upper and lower arch. The radiograph image is taken from outside the mouth with the use of a machine that rotates around the entire head of the patient. It is used by dentists to detect impacted wisdom teeth, identify jaw problems, monitor tooth development in children, plan treatment for dental implants, and diagnose bony tumors and cysts.
