Metal and porcelain crownsZirconium CrownsThese are indicated when a tooth is severely damaged and cannot return to its regular function by a simple restoration, likewise, when the tooth has received endodontic treatment. It is made in approximately three appointments due to its elaboration in a dental laboratory. The dentist will have prepared the tooth and taken the mold. There are different types:*  MetalThese are used when there is no space left for the positioning of porcelain and in accordance with the bite of the patient. They are economical.*  Metal-PorcelainThese are the most recommended hence being very aesthetic. Porcelain is placed in the more visible areas.*  PorcelainThese are the most aesthetic and they allow the passage of light because of the absence of metal. They are of a higher cost.
Dentist Consultation $20 - $30
In this treatment we perform a routine review in which we include the taking of up to 5 digital radiographs at no cost.
Dental Implants $700 - $950
Implants are fixations (bolt) of pure titanium which is placed on the bone of the maxillary or the mandible through a small surgery to replace the roots of lost teeth. Steps to be taken for their placement. 1.-The first exam is taking one or many radiographies of this zone to prepare the procedure, study models and general tests. 2.-Implant installation, in the same intervention, a temporary tooth is placed that will allow eating and function with regularity immediately. The implant will require some months to be integrated into the maxillary before continuing with the next step. 3.-Placement of the new crown. The last step is the placement of the permanent ceramic piece. The new dental piece will be placed for life. It does not require additional treatment at all.

Comprehensive oral evaluation with panoramic x rays. One dental implant complete with extraction, bone graft & temporary partial denture, abutment & porcelain/ceramic crown. Two cleanings & 3 resin based composite fillings. This was to replace a failed root canal with a previously installed titanium post and crown. Quotes from USA dentists were in the $7500 range for the implant only, not including cleanings and composite fillings to replace old amalgam ones. The clinic was clean and well equipped. Service was professional and thorough with excellent results. Some scheduling delays were encountered but were the result of delays with other patients treatments and scheduling with the dental laboratory. Transportation to/from the San Diego airport and hotel by Fernando was very professional as well. Overall, excellent quality of work and service at well under half the USA cost including two trips from USA East Coast with airfares and related hotel/travel expenses. Tijuana has well over a thousand dental clinics and a newcomer can easily make the wrong choice. Excellent reviews from the WhatClinic website were the reason I selected Dental Brush.
