From the moment I arrived at the hospital I was treated with such care and kindness. Every aspect of the treatment was explained thoroughly and I felt fully informed throughout. My operation actually happened ahead of time which saved me from the worry brought about from excessive waiting. In the theatre, the anaesthetist and the surgeon were incredibly courteous and reassuring which put me at my ease. Following the operation, my care was incredible and their main aim was to ensure my comfort at all times. I can recommend this hospital without reservation. First class.
Wow-what an experience I have had with Mr Elgaward and his team! A wonderful one at that. For the last few years, I have been visiting Mr Elgaward after having breast surgery done by another surgeon in Manchester that did not go to plan and had left me in a real mess. I went to see Mr Elgaward after my first breast surgery with another surgeon and he said how upset he was with that the surgeon had done to me. How expensive it would be for me to correct the work that the surgeon has done and for me to go back where I had originally had it done for them to rectify. Rather than his own self-gain with pocketing money from me he suggested I went back to who did my surgery in the first instance. Sadly second time round with the same surgeon and my results only looked worse. Straight to Mr Elgaward, I went knowing I would not trust anyone else to perform surgery on me again! I was worried. I thought maybe surgery is just not for me! My body doesn’t handle it well or something. Mr Elgaward reassured me I would be fine in his care and I certainly have been. He was honest, sincere, kind and understanding throughout all my time in his care. I arrived for my surgery on Tuesday morning and within half an hour I had my pre-op and was ready for theatre. I was calm as I knew I was in the best hands possible! I awoke from my surgery after a few hours. Come 10:30 pm at night Mr Elgaward was still there visiting his patients checking upon them. How lovely! He must have been so tired after being at work for 7 am! I received a lovely bunch of flowers on day 3 post-op from Rachel and Mr Elgaward which were so beautiful and the card I shall keep. Thank you for everything you have all done for me. I am 4 days post-op now from a breast uplift, muscle repair, hernia repair lipo and tummy tuck. My breast implant and uplift I had on its own with the last surgeon was a million times worse than all of these surgeries put together. I have not been on any painkillers after my surgery with Mr Elgaward I am in slight discomfort but I imagined it to be a lot worse than it is. I can not stand 100% straight just yet but I gather soon I shall be. I am shouting from the rooftops for people to not think twice about surgery with Mr Elgaward and his team. If anyone can fix you it is he! I am so so happy I went to Mr Elgaward. I can’t wait to see my results in a few weeks time and finally be able to go swimming with my children. Thank goodness my loose skin has been put in the bin for good! On a final note; Rachel his secretary has also been a lovely lady. Rachel seemed just as excited as me for my surgery with messaging me a count down of days I had left until it was finally my turn. She would respond to any queries really quickly and has been so caring. You have given me a life I only imagined I would have! I can’t wait to see my before and after pictures and share them with you all.
I arranged an out-of-hours consultation due to my own work commitments and was so pleased that they worked flexible hours. I was seen by specialist nurse Debbie, who explained the procedure to me. I then got booked in for a date that was convenient for me to allow my recovery. On the date of my procedure (blepharoplasty for my hooded eyelids), I met Jenny ( nurse) and Mr El Gawad. He was very charming and professional, and both Jenny and Mr El Gawad made the whole experience very calming as I didn’t know what to expect. I found this clinic by googling the procedure in the Liverpool area. I was very pleased by how kind, professional and efficient all the staff were. It was also a very clean and well-run service. I also received a follow-up telephone call within 24 hours to ensure I was not having any problems and to give them a call if I had any concerns.
