After contacting many clinics in turkey I decided to go ahead with Dr Gorkem Atsal due to several reasons. Gulce, the coordinator was responsive, understanding and empathetic. This together with Dr Atsals reviews, the before and after pictures, personal interaction with other clients that had the same surgery with positive outcomes and feedback, plus the reasonable price for me was the deciding factor.

Overall the experience was smooth running I was as promised collected to and from the airport, to all hospital runs. I had 2 nights stay in the hospital as well as my hotel paid for so all was as agreed in the initial consultation and invoice. I was happy with my surgery recovered as expected. The after care & communication once I got back home after the op to months later is still consistent with the initial first contact I had with the team.

Although this clinic was a bit more expensive than the others that I researched, but let me tell you, you get what you pay for, and I will say this, I thank god that I chose them. I came to Turkey to get tummy tuck, inner thigh and arm lift plus liposuction. The team from the clinic are amazing they arrange everything from airport transport, accommodation and transfers to and from hospital.

Highly recommend the clinic and the team, surgery was smooth and without complications, surgery Saturday back to hotel Tuesday. Hospital was ok not the same as you get in Australia, nurses very friendly but just need to Monitor patients a bit better and more often, this would be my only slight negative thing. Doctor was very informative and made sure you knew what was happening and what to do after surgery.

Honestly I have heard some horror stories about surgery in turkey and we did a lot of research before deciding on tho clinic, if you choose this team you won’t be disappointed and they treat you like family.

I am very happy with my results to date and can’t wait to see the end results in several months, everyday is an improvement and you feel better.

I am a 54-year-old British woman and I’m delighted to leave a review of my recent deep plane face/neck lift and upper/lower eyelid with temple lift surgery and experience with Dr Gorkem Atsal in Istanbul.

Having surgery is a big step and I did plenty of online research beforehand as there are so many options. I chose Dr Atsal because of his experience, qualifications, reviews and the hospital he was recommending. Also, after my video consultation with him, he was detailed in his explanations and recommendations and conservative in his surgical approach. Other surgeons were suggesting I had my rhinoplasty in the same surgery and were also recommending more procedures like a lip lift. Dr Aksal did NOT want to do rhinoplasty in the same session due to the impact of the swelling from the other procedures and the extended amount of time I would be under general anaesthesia. My safety and a good surgical outcome was his top priority. He is a lovely, positive, reassuring Doctor and his English is excellent and fluent. There was no need for a translator.

The pre-op assessment (blood tests, X-ray and ecg) hospital facilities and nursing care were first-class and all focused on my safety, comfort and wellbeing. There were no language issues, someone who could speak English was always around. 48 hours after surgery I was discharged from the hospital back to the beautiful G hotel to recover and I was driven to and from the Doctor’s luxury clinic for post-op checks with him on days 5 and 7 before flying home to the UK. I was also given all the necessary medicine, creams and even a special LED facial massager to use at home to speed up my healing. During my time in Istanbul I could contact someone on the Dr’s team 24 hours per day and any questions I had were quickly answered. He was neither the most expensive nor the cheapest Surgeon and I felt that the price I paid was very good value for money.

I would highly recommend this surgeon and as a side note, I would absolutely suggest having a friend or family member to accompany you when having surgery overseas. It’s reassuring to have a company with you.
