I recently underwent cosmetic surgery with Dr. Yoo and I cannot express enough how incredible the entire experience was. The most powerful and positive memory of my surgery is the extraordinary caring service that Debora, the English-speaking surgical coordinator gave to me. Debora gave me supportive and caring individualized attention. She always made me feel like I am her one and only priority and nothing is ever a bother, no matter how many questions and how many times I ask her the same questions…brain fog after the surgery? Prior to my surgery, I was extremely nervous, as expected. Debora took the time to explain how every step of this process will be, what to expect before, during and after surgery, constantly reassuring me and checking in on me. My surgery lasted about 8 hours and it was clear that Dr.Yoo and the team came in fresh, focused, and ready to deliver exceptional results. They were professional, skilled and compassionate every step of the way. The day after my surgery and for the next four weeks, I went to the clinic every day for the de-swelling laser which is included with the surgery And every day Debora took her time to be by my side helping me with my questions, giving me the reassurance and encouragement that I really needed the first two weeks post-surgery. She also gave me tips and tricks to help my recovery process. I’m absolutely thrilled with my results and I’m looking forward to coming back in September for the second procedure of the eye-pop surgery….stay tuned for more detailed updates. Outstanding care! Absolutely the best. My experience: I am 54 and my tummy has been something I have been insecure about most of my life. A big belly runs in our family and for me it only got worse after having a cesarean section 20 years ago. Dieting and exercise seemed pointless because my belly was always hanging there anyway, flopping when I tried to jog, keeping me from the humiliation of a swimsuit. Dr. Jeon is extremely competent, modern and thorough. He limits himself to one surgery per day, so you never feel rushed through treatments. He explains everything with patience, a non-judgmental, matter-of-fact tone, and a quick laugh that instantly puts you at ease. I noticed he jokes with his staff and speaks to them kindly, and that tells you a lot about a doctor. Miji and the entire nursing staff are friendly, warm, truly kind, and all speak perfect English. Miji even held my hand before surgery because she knew I was scared. The aftercare has also been excellent (light therapy, etc). I am completely happy and grateful that I found Evita Clinic! Practical stuff: Communication is always fast via WhatsApp. I never wait long in waiting rooms. The price was super reasonable and transparent on their website. I paid 5.5 million KRW, including aftercare - exactly what was quoted. There were no hidden costs. There was no „foreigner price“ hike, like I have seen in other clinics. Dr. Lee is not only the best at his craft, but he is also humble, kind and committed to perfection. After interviewing multiple surgeons, I decided on Dr. Lee, and travelled from Canada to South Korea for reconstruction and revision rhinoplasty. I had an extremely complicated case, having had a previous rhinoplasty procedure in Canada that left me with a saddle nose deformity and collapsed nasal valve. Some of the other doctors I consulted advised that the surgery was too complicated or wanted to use gortex or silicone to rebuild my nose. Instead, Dr. Lee used my own rib cartilage to rebuild my nose (which is much safer than foreign materials). Dr. Lee is a true artist. The result was truly life changing. I am now able to breathe normally. Beyond that, Dr. Lee created a nose that surpassed my expectations. He created a nose that perfectly fits my face and features. I would be remiss to write a review without also thanking Joann and the nurses. The whole team took great lengths to ensure I was comfortable and enjoyed my time in Korea. The entire experience was seamless from airport pick-up to ongoing care at the residence. Every detail was considered down to serving patients anti-inflammatory foods, to LED red light therapy to reduce swelling. I am extremely grateful to have met Dr. Lee and the VIP team.
