Hi everyone, I would just like to share my experience of my tummy tuck and liposuction I had with Dr Julio Matias. I went and enquired through what clinic and read all the reviews on the surgery. So I sent an enquiry to there clinic. Within an hour I was in touch with a very nice lady called Sandra, she answered all my questions with ease and I sent her some photos of what I wanted to be done. I just wanted a price first to see what it would be as I didn't want to waste anyones time ! The next day Sandra gave me a quotation which was excellent she quoted me for tummy tuck muscle tightness liposuction tummy flanks and back with a two-night stay in hospital for 6700 EUROS which converts to £5500 pounds. ( Had a quote in UK just for my tummy tuck was 9600 pounds). After I had the price Sandra arranged for a free video chat with Dr Matias and explained everything to him what I would like. I was happy with the call so I went ahead and booked a consultation with him which cost 85 EUROS. So four days later I traveled to Lisbon to see him. It was great he and Sandra was there they spoke very good English, felt so nice to speak with them, he showed me his amazing work he had done, and the time spent with them was not rushed at all. The test I had before surgery was covid test 3 days before, chest xrays, blood, and ECG, I went to my Dr in Portugal to get the test done for free but can be done privately Sandra sent me the prescriptions. So I went ahead and booked the surgery for two weeks later 22.2.22 a date I can never forget. On the afternoon of the Surgery I went to reception and booked myself in the lady spoke good English too. I had to pay 55 Euros for hospital items like masks, hats, pants toiletries. I was taken to my own room was pretty basic but very clean, I put my gown on then Sandra and Dr Matias came and did his famous drawings. Sandra called my husband to tell him I was out of the theatre and was back in my room, the first day after surgery felt ok just dizzy from the anesthetic. Mr Matias came to see me and told me everything went great! The staff was amazing couldn't do anything more to help me, they was on time with painkillers, also the next day I got out of bed and the nurses helped me shower wow it felt good. The next day was home time Dr Matias came to see me and gave me letters and a sheet telling me what to do and not to do in English too. I got home and settled In and Sandra messaged me to ask if I was ok and if I needed anything just let her know. I had my 8 day checkup yesterday 2.3.22 to have my stitches out and again such a pleasure to see Sandra and Dr Matias, I see them again in 3 weeks. I can honestly say I have been looking for a consultant for over two years and never felt comfortable but this team is amazing and I wouldn't go anywhere else. Mmmm now planning for my next surgery but shhhh not told the husband yet lol. Thank you all very much I managed to look at my new body wow so happy with results and the swelling still has to go down yet, so if you thinking of surgery this is the ONE to choose.

Dr. Da Cruz did my first breast implant and liposuction many years ago and I had to find him when I wanted a new set. He truly is the best. Helped and advised me every step of the way. I am over the moon happy with my results. He took his personal time to check on me and my progression. The best doctor hands down and I came all the way from New York for his work!

I have had several sessions of physical therapy at Instituto Medico Privado for a severely broken and then surgically repaired shoulder and have been extremely impressed and happy with the outcome. I had done several months of regular therapy in the United States prior to coming to Porto and it was essential to continue the recovery process or else regress. Since starting here, the shoulder's rate of recovery has improved significantly due to their outstanding work. Each session has been customized/adjusted to focus on areas of greatest need. They explain what and why they are doing very well. I will continue to use them and I recommend them wholeheartedly.

I had a mole removal surgery in this clinic. Really great experience with Joao Nunes, he treated me with care and attentiveness. The treatment was easier, faster than I expected and the end results were even better. Thank you. A great clinic.
