We call your first visit - the Initial Consultation New Patient Forms When entering the clinic our receptionists will greet you and welcome you to our practice. We will request you fill our new patient health forms. The paperwork provides us with general information about yourself and the medical questionnaire section will help us establish your past medical history and give us details about your current condition. Consultation During the consultation you will be asked more detailed questions about your condition, relevant past medical conditions, your lifestyle (what you do for a living and how much exercise you take etc). This is important information which allows us to determine what stresses and strains in your life can be playing a role in causing your condition. Certain underlying medical conditions like previous surgery, arthritis, are relevant either as contributing factors to your complaint or in determining what treatment techniques are suitable for you. Examination We will then move on to the examination. This will focus on checking your posture, assessing your spinal joint (or other joint) movements and testing your nerve function. Muscle strength tests are used to identify areas of weakness. Blood pressure readings are taken to get an overall health picture. Report of Findings The nature and cause of your problem will be explained in detail (report of findings) as well as what treatment you will need (including how many treatments you are likely to need). You will also be given a chance to ask any questions you may have. Your specific condition may require us to take x-rays to get a full evaluation of a patient. X-rays help us rule out more serious conditions or assist us in developing the most effective treatment plan for you. I cannot put into words how brilliant Dr. Olwen A. Griffiths has been with me! My injury was a result of celebrating, I jumped up in amaze to find I had overextended the joints in my neck, resulting in trapped nerves ranging through my neck, down my spinal cord and through my left arm, along with severe swelling. My left arm became extremely weak and I needed professional attention. After my very first session, which included consultation and treatment, my range of mobility increased dramatically. 5 sessions later and I've NEVER felt better! Olwen is extremely professional in her work and I could not recommend such a brilliant practice more! 5 STARS!

Two months back I had severe lower back pain at work which kept me off work and in pain unable to do anything. From the internet, I found Redlands house clinic . On my first visit, Jonathan assessed me and explained what was wrong with me. He reassured me I will recover completely following the treatment. I visited regularly and followed the exercise advice for me. Jonathan sent a letter to GP to help me with sicknote. As I work as a nurse in a busy area Jonathan suggested another area of work suitable for me. I found a job in another area suiting to my health. Now I am back to work enjoying my new life.
