The whole Centre exudes a high level of expertise and care. All staff are brilliant, always with a smile and very positive attitude. The treatment was really effective and has helped me regain full mobility for an old shoulder injury. They also checked my entire spine and identified a problem in my neck that was causing me regular headaches every 1-2 days. SInce starting treatment I haven't had a headache for 4 weeks! I'd gladly recommend anyone who has never had their spine checked to check out BodyWell first.

I've used this clinic regularly, and the service was very good. First set of treatments was for shoulder pain, which hasn't bothered me since. Second set of treatments was for lower back pain, which was harder to treat. But they gave me diet, exercise and lifestyle advice which helps manage symptoms.

Initial Consultation from £50
During the initial consultation the Doctor of Chiropractic will start by taking your history of the presenting complaint as well as any other neuro-musculo-skeletal symptoms, and past medical history. Followed by examination (postural, orthopaedic and neuro-musculo-skeletal as relevant to the complaint). A diagnosis is formed and given to the patient with a brief report of findings. X Rays may be requested.  A brief treatment may be given on the first treatment (varies according to the individual).  Furthermore, this is if the chiropractor is satisfied there is no reason why treatment cannot be started immediately (trauma, potential pathology, other contra-indications for treatment). If treatment cannot be started, then advice will be given to make you more comfortable. Prompt referral will always be made if the Chiropractor deems necessary.
Activator methods from £97
Initial consultation can take approximately 40 minutes to an hour. It involves taking history into the presenting complaint as well as any other neuro-musculo-skeletal symptoms, and then past medical history.

I initially started using the Acomb Chiropractic Clinic well over 10 years ago when I developed a severe back problem.
