Initial Consultation This takes about 45 minutes. At your first visit, the chiropractor will take a full and detailed medical history and carry out a thorough physical, orthopaedic, neurological and chiropractic examination. Other investigations might also be necessary, such as X-rays or MRI scans. The chiropractor will do what is possible to ease symptoms, but treatment cannot be guaranteed at the first visit.
