Immediately after an injury occurs to the skin, our body reuses the damaged collagen and elastin fibres as well as other damaged skin components to produce new healthy ones. Immediately after your Dermaroller procedure you will look as though you have moderate sunburn and your skin may feel warm and tighter than usual. This will start to subside after two hours and will normally recover on the same day with only slight redness the following day. A course of three Dermaroller sessions, at 6-8 week intervals, is usually recommended to achieve optimum results. However you will notice great skin improvement after just one treatment.
