CO2 LASER resurfacing at the Ottawa Clinic: My first impression of Dr. Cholé Ward was that her self-care and appearance was impeccable and her demeanour of locking eyes with me, and calling me by name inspired confidence that she would give me equal care and attention. Her credentials were self-explanatory. Maddi, her medical assistant was exceptional at initially welcoming me and subsequently helping me out of the clinic after my procedure. Nurse Lyne prepared me for and guided me through the procedure while Nurse Audrey was always there for me post-procedure with tips on skin care and advice. The loveliness of this clinic, the personnel, and the perpetual availability of both medical and nursing attention never left me frustrated that I had to deal with anything alone. It certainly was a commitment of resources, time and some discomfort, but the outcome justifies all that. I wholeheartedly endorse this clinic, the procedure and follow-up. Recently had a treatment on my knee which was recommended by my Orthopedist. I choose to have this treatment done by Dr Smith which was done in his office at a fraction of the cost which was quoted by my Orthopedist. Not only was the cost a huge factor put the convenience from start to finish was done within an hour. Not only was Dr Smith incredible his staff from the ladies in the blood lab which took my blood to retrieve the plasma to his nurses that provided me with all the information I needed to make this decision I highly recommend calling if your considering this procedure. I was curious to receive viewpoints on treatments that might improve the look of old acne scars, in particular, a chemical peel. I received a skin analysis and without pressure, I was asked if I would be willing to try a moisturizing treatment peel that would benefit my skin and also serve as a training activity for two specialists in the room. The skin specialist was positive, had great bedside manner, and applied excellent quality products to my face. I was sent home with travel size samples to apply post-treatment. I am now almost finished the post-treatment products and my skin looks and feels healthy and soft. Wonderful experience!
