Maria Scornavacca, Clinical Supervisor did my treatments. I did not find a speck of dust on all the huge equipment in Maria's treatment room. She used a new face mask both times, was so professional with sanitation, generous with her time and absolutely precise with getting at my numerous skin tags. Maria is par excellence! Minimum treatment charge is C$50 and you can get approx. 5 skin tags burned for that cost. Pain with burning is the same as freezing used by doctors. However, doctors are not trained in cosmetology, they do not have the precise equipment and lighting and they invariably permanently burn surrounding skin (my own experience). Never get a doctor to do this! The heated pen used at medical clinics such as this one needs the tips frequently replaced from stripping due to heat. So you are not only paying for the Clinician's training costs, their time, sanitation, but maintenance of equipment and clinical surroundings too. A lovely bunch of women at this clinic, bubbly and genuinely friendly. Maria is a reserved personality, extremely professional and generous with her time. Most clinics are way too concerned with their time and money and I am not comfortable with that. Maria Scornavacca, Clinical Supervisor, is par excellence!

I was curious to receive viewpoints on treatments that might improve the look of old acne scars, in particular, a chemical peel. I received a skin analysis and without pressure, I was asked if I would be willing to try a moisturizing treatment peel that would benefit my skin and also serve as a training activity for two specialists in the room. The skin specialist was positive, had great bedside manner, and applied excellent quality products to my face. I was sent home with travel size samples to apply post-treatment. I am now almost finished the post-treatment products and my skin looks and feels healthy and soft. Wonderful experience!

Over the past several years, I have worked with Dr Hoffman to devise a program to keep my skin healthy and rejuvenated. She is excellent and does not recommend treatments that she feels won’t be worthwhile. This is a very skilled physician. I’ve also worked with Melissa, esthetician who is also very skilled and excellent. Overall, I find staff welcoming, pleasant to deal with and professional. Clearly, management has hired not only qualified people but staff with good people skills and caring personalities. I would highly recommend Kingston laser clinic.
