Rejuvenate Medical Spa’s Broad Band Light (BBL™) treatment uses state-of-the-art laser technology to proven effectiveness and multiple wavelengths to treat a variety of conditions. The system offers minimal downtime with minimal discomfort. We use the Sciton® Joule - the most effective and versatile laser available for photorejuvenation.   BBL™ facial laser treatments are ideal for improving skin conditions associated with aging, sun damage and hyperpigmentation.  Through the use of interchangeable wavelength filters, BBL™ treatments can be customized to treat a multitude of facial skin conditions. BBL™ delivers light energy to heat the upper layers of the skin. The targeted areas absorb the heat which eliminates blood vessels that cause redness and removes unwanted melanin responsible for age spots and pigmented lesions. Common conditions that are treated with BBL™ include, brown or age spots, freckles, redness or blood vessels, and sign of sun damage. BBL™ can be used on all parts of the body including the face, neck, decolletage, arms and hands. Its integrated thermo-electric cooled sapphire plate keeps the treatment area safe, cool and comfortable. Immediately following your photofacial or photo rejuvenation treatment, brown spots/discolourations will start to darken and your skin may appear slightly pink. This typically lasts a few hours to possibly a few days. One to three weeks after your treatment, the darkened spots will flake off and the redness of blood vessels will diminish. Sunspots or uneven pigmentation will fade for a smoother texture and more even complexion.
