I am from Germany, 28 years old. I had Sleeve Gastrectomy operation about 5 months ago. I got to know M.D. Cemal Kara thanks to my cousin. First of all, I decided to have Gastric Bypass surgery. However, because it was my first operation, he recommended Sleeve Gastrectomy surgery. I have no regrets. I went into surgery with 129 kilos and I currently weigh 92 kg. It has been 5 months since I stopped taking my diabetes and blood pressure medications. The team and the doctor are so friendly that you never feel lonely. They meet you at the airport and are with you until you return home. The follow-up process, paying attention has been going on for 5 months. I had a gastric sleeve done with dr mehmet Deniz. Can't fault the care I received. First lots of tests done which was done pretty swiftly but very thorough. Had a translator with us as a group of the people who were having the op, we all went through it together. Knew exactly what was going on. After surgery was very well looked after. Hospital very clean and very modern. Used google translate to communicate- no problem at all. Would recommend to anyone considering bariatric surgery. Coordinators always answer my questions even when I got home.

I was very apprehensive initially but found the process very streamlined. There's always a Rep there to keep you informed and help with any issues. I unfortunately had a fall during my hotel stay and the reps couldnt have been more helpful to me. My postoperative period has been so well supported with constant check ins and always someone at the end of WhatsApp to help you through.
