Allurion Swallowable Gastric Balloon Maltepe

At first I was hesitant to book the procedures of my 2 sons since I have no first-hand information about the clinic and mainly rely in the reviews online. But from the start of the treatment until the last day everything went smoothly. Thanks to the amazing staff and doctors of Fizikon and specially Inci of PMC. I am truly thankful I came across PMC. Inci made it sure that everything was well taken cared of from hotel bookings, airport pick-up/drop-off and coordination in the clinic. Everything was made easy for us especially since it was our first time to come to Turkey. Highly recommended!

Thank you Alfa Health! Being overweight has always been a huge problem for me. I couldn’t wear what I wanted, I couldn’t socialize. I’ve heard about gastric balloon but had too many questions to ask and I couldn’t find anyone to answer. Then this guys came along. They answered all my questions about the whole process. Thanks to their help, I decided to go for it. I’m so glad that I got to meet these guys. They were so kind, helpful and professional. They organized everything and informed me about every little details. All I had to do was being there; the rest has been taken care by them. Elipse gastric balloon process was much easier than I’ve expected. It took around 20 minutes. They also gave me a smart scale and smartwatch that connected to the Allurion app. Their nutritionist is always there to help me and I can get information whenever I want to.

After my sister had her gastric sleeve in January 2023 and I saw the results of her surgery and health I decided to also have one. I booked for the 13th of November. The largest weight I was, was 25stone and 11lbs but with the liver reduction diet and my willpower, I got down to 24stone and 5lbs on the day of surgery. I was of course nervous because of my size but Dr Cengiz reassured me that I would be OK and that he was shocked at how healthy I was for someone of my size. However, he said that wouldn't last and in 5years time I would have all the same health issues as my sister had. Our mother died from heart disease at 47 and my sister was diagnosed with the same. So I knew I was running out of time as I was 7 stone heavier than my sister, to begin with. They came and got me around 4.30 pm and I was very bewildered being wheeled down to the operating room but the staff were very reassuring. I couldn't even have a relaxer as they had trouble finding a vein but they did and I accidentally pulled it out during one of the pre-op tests. The anaesthetist put a cannula in and before I knew it I was asleep and the next thing I knew I was being slapped around the face and being told to breathe. My throat was sore but I eventually took a breath. I wasn't in pain at all, I wasn't tired either. The care I received was the best I've had. If I needed pain relief I got it, if I felt sick I got sick. The nurses and doctors were brilliant even though there was a language barrier sometimes. I cannot fault the care or aftercare I've had from Apera and would recommend them highly to others. I am currently almost 5 stone down and my health has improved and my energy levels are so much better too. Thank you opera for giving me my life back.
