About AquaPhysio Ltd

AquaPhysio is a friendly and welcoming state of the art rehabilitation centre that specialises in aquatic physiotherapy/hydrotherapy.

We offer 1-2-1 treatment with specialist orthopaedic physiotherapists in our private, heated, indoor, hydrotherapy pool. The properties of the water allow patients to exercise with reduced or no weight through their injured joints or bones, meaning they have better movement and control in the water than they would on land. Our expert physiotherapists create tailored training programmes, and they work closely together with their patients to aim to restore independence, helping to improve their health and wellbeing.

Aquatic Physiotherapy

Aquatic Physiotherapy is physiotherapy practised in warm water and can help relieve aches and pains, mobilise stiff joints and strengthen weak muscles. The water in the pool is approximately 34ºC, allowing your muscles to relax and easing the pain in your joints. The buoyancy of the water unloads the weight of the body, reducing stress on joints and allowing freedom of movement. Aquatic Physiotherapy can accelerate healing and provides a general sense of well-being.

Aqua Fitness

At AquaPhysio we are able to offer a variety of aquatic fitness activities from aqua-running, to exercising against the current. Ideal if you are looking to take your first tentative steps back into exercising after a long lay-off or you are an elite athlete looking to maintain activity whilst injured or to supplement you current training, we will have a program to suit your requirements.

Great first session with Sophy 3 weeks post TKR. She put me through my paces and was well worth the cost. Clinic recommended by a friend. Really friendly staff.
