Biography:
As the owner of Devonshire Square Physiotherapy, Robert has an extensive knowledge of biomechanical dysfunction. Through his close association with elite level athletes and specialist consultants, Robert has developed a keen interest in high level musculoskeletal injury rehabilitation. He graduated with honours from The University of Manchester in 2005 and has completed further post- graduate qualifications in Manual Therapy techniques. Rob firmly believes in designing an optimal treatment plan specific to each client, aiming for full functional rehabilitation. Robert, himself a keen strength and conditioning enthusiast, has worked with several rugby, Olympic weight-lifting and power-lifting clubs. Robert is a recognised Anatomy in Motion therapist, using ‘next generation’ techniques to ensure an effective return to pain free training. Rob also incorporates the innovative NeuroKinetic approach to his tailor made therapies, correcting dysfunctional movement and root of pain. Rob is one of the few therapists in the UK to incorporate these latest approaches with more traditional techniques.

Biography:
Ben graduated with a Bachelor in Applied Science in Physiotherapy from the University of South Australia in 1987. He also subsequently obtained Postgraduate Diplomas in Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine from the Otago University in New Zealand, as well as in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy from the McKenzie Institute International. In addition, Ben received recognised training in physiotherapy acupuncture and practises dry needling. Ben worked in public hospitals & private clinics, including his own practice for twelve years in New Zealand. After that, he spent 5 years in London working alongside with some of the top orthopaedic surgeons and also specialised in gym based rehabilitation. For the last two and a half years, Ben spent his time in Sydney, Australia, and developed a keen interest in treating neck and back problems utilising the McKenzie system and the ‘Key’ Method. These treatment systems have an evidence-based approach which incorporate the latest researches in biomechanics, anatomy and pain physiology. Ben also practises kinesio taping for sports injuries. Ben’s article ‘Low Back Pain: The effect of Mechanical Therapy on Tissue Healing’ was published in Patient Management in 1995. Ben speaks fluent Chinese and Mandarin & is currently learning French. In his spare time he enjoys travelling and gym training.
