Rob qualified as a Physiotherapist in 2000 from the University of Nottingham. He worked for 9 years at an internationally renowned NHS London teaching hospital. During this time he gained experience in the assessment and treatment of a huge variety of acute and chronic injuries and rehabilitation following orthopaedic surgery. He also lead back fitness classes, lower limb rehabilitation classes and lower limb biomechanics clinics. He also managed the Hydrotherapy service for over a year. He has worked alongside a number of Orthopaedic, Rheumatology and Neuro Consultants – benefitting from their specialist knowledge. He also acted as a Clinical Educator for Physiotherapy students on placement and had been a Supervisor and mentor for more junior members of staff. In 2009 he moved into the private sector, working within a successful and well respected private practice in the City of London. Here he has treated a wide variety of conditions including sports injuries, overuse injuries, biomechanical dysfunctions, muscle imbalances, postural related pain and work related disorders. At present he splits his time between Ultimate Physio and City Road Physio. Rob is a keen sportsman himself and has a special interest in the treatment of sports injuries. He is a keen footballer and has experience working with a professional football team’s youth academy. He is a passionate golfer and is one of only a small number of Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) Certified practitioners in the UK. He is a TPI Certified Golf Fitness Instructor and a Level 2 TPI Golf Medical Professional. He is also trained in acupuncture and is a member of the AACP (The Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists)
