Havering Therapy Centre

I’ve been going to Havering Therapy Centre on and off for around 15 years, first attending after a car accident when I was treated by Graham Holman, who helped me recover from my injuries. Since then, I’ve returned over the years for various issues and have always received outstanding care and treatment.

More recently, over the last 12 months, I’ve been attending due to a torn Achilles tendon. As I’ve still not had a follow-up appointment with the NHS, the support from Graham, Christina and Shruti has been invaluable and has helped me massively during this time.

I honestly cannot recommend Havering Therapy Centre highly enough. The care, professionalism and genuine support they have given me over the years has been first class. They always go above and beyond, and somehow always manage to fit me in when needed. I wouldn’t go anywhere else unless they couldn’t see me.

My treatment was for my back. Graham was very thorough and went through all my medical history before he carried out any treatment. Graham was very professional. He then said the treatment he would give me to help my problem, which was acupuncture and massage. He gave me exercises to do at home, too, and asked me to make another follow-up appointment with the receptionist. The receptionist was very helpful and friendly.

I saw Shruti since Graham wasn't available. Shruti was excellent and solved my sports-related shoulder problem in just a few visits. She has a great manner and is very thorough.

I have been visiting this clinic for years.

Not because the initial injury was never repaired. Quite the contrary, i have had various injuries, all of which have been repaired and i can continue along my line of work as a football coach and a recreational football player.

Injuries include:

Meniscus in both knees
Medial ligaments in both knees
Hamstring tear
Ankle ligaments damaged
Lower back pain - which i not only saw the physiotherapist but the sports masseur as well.

The experiences are always professional, and i would recommend this clinic to anybody who has an injured area.

The whole process of assessment and diagnostics, treatment plan, then rehabilitation plan is absolutely superb and catered for each individual.

I have been going to this clinic for many years. I have had treatment with two young physios for back pain, including during pregnancy, and other therapists for reflexology, homeopathy, podiatry and relaxation massage.

I have always found the therapists here to be friendly, professional and effective. The receptionists are very friendly too, unlike some other clinics! I would definitely recommend.

I have attended this clinic a number of times over the years for various physiotherapy treatments following issues with my back, knee and ankle.

On each occasion my treatment has been clearly explained to me and I have received good results, even better when I remember to complete the home exercises! Very helpful and friendly therapists and staff, extremely patient focused. I always send my friends and family there.

I went for Physio on an on going back injury and was asked by my Physio, Valerie, what works best for me, I told her manipulation is the best treatment for me, not heat pads or tens machines, the first treatment she put a heat pad on me and left the room for 20 mins, the second treatment she put a tens machine on me and left the room for 20 mins so she could see another patient! In 3 sessions probably a total of 12 minutes manipulation and still in agony and £86 out of pocket.
