Leyland Physiotherapy Centre

0203 322 9884 ext: 29090 83 Bow Lane, Leyland, PR25 4YB
Rating from 1 Review I have seen a steady improvementTony, UK, 17 Mar 17

Visited the centre to resolve pain in my right leg and hip area which had got progressively worse over a 3-4 week period and was restricting walking over relatively short distances without feeling pain, particularly in the calf area. The treatment has been running for about 3 weeks and I have seen a steady improvement each week and am gradually extending my walking distances supported by an exercise regime. Would definitely recommend this treatment to anyone with similar symptoms. The clinic are very professional and knowledgeable. They take comprehensive notes regarding your treatment and discuss all options available to you, whilst developing the appropriate treatment plan. The plan is supported by a series of recommended home exercises designed to assist in the gradual healing process of the affected muscles, nerves etc. Thee is no pressure to undertake a set number of treatments and the flexible approach means you can jointly discuss your programme and adjust where necessary by using their expertise and experience.

Spinal Physiotherapy

0203 514 1518 ext: 14429 Spinal Physiotherapy, 24 Winckley Square, Preston, PR1 3JJ
My name is Paul Boxcer, I am a Chartered and HCPC Registered Physiotherapist of over 17 years and I specialise in the treatment of spinal pain and in particular Low Back Pain & Sciatica. I am author of the book “Low Back Pain & Sciatica - A Personalised Treatment Approach” and was also invited to be a guest speaker on my approach to treating pain at the 2012 & 2014 Back Pain Show at London Olympia.I am incredibly passionate about helping people in general, but in particular, those suffering with spinal pain. Over the years, I have treated many people who had been suffering unnecessarily for far too long, when all they needed was the appropriate advice, treatment and exercise programme to become pain free.I believe that spinal pain is often a very over medicalised and over treated condition. Your body does not want to be in pain, it gives you pain because you are doing things it does not like. As long as you take this into account, look to analyse what it is you are doing that both aggravates and eases your pain, then a cure for your pain can be achieved.I look forward to hearing from you and if you have any questions to ask, do not hesitate to give me a call. Many thanks,Paul.

SB Sports Massage is based on Harrogate Road LS17 between Chapel Allerton and Moortown Corner and provides professional massage and biomechanical analysis to clients in Leeds and West Yorkshire. Are you an active sportsperson? I work with recreational athletes of all ages and abilities who compete in a variety of sports and who require treatment for sports-specific injuries caused by overtraining, biomechanical dysfunction or inefficient recovery. If you are just about to compete in an event, deep tissue massage will help prepare your body for training and competition. After an event, when your body feels tired and sore, deep tissue massage will improve your range of movement and ensure your body recovers quickly. And what if you are not an active sportsperson? Of course, Sports Massage can work for you too. Do you sit at and lean over a desk all day? Have you been lifting heavy objects and feel the strain? I work with a wide range of individuals who suffer with back, neck and shoulder tension often caused by poor posture. I can provide deep tissue massage to treat tension, stress and pain and re-energise exhausted bodies. Every body benefits from Sports Massage, not just an active body So with a biomechanical analysis to assess the body’s symmetry and movement and establish the cause of pain and a deep tissue massage to treat the symptoms of pain I will be able to offer you a treatment to suit your needs.
