Charlotte Winstone

Biography:
BSc(Hons) MCSP Charlotte graduated from the University of Salford in 2000 with BSc(Hons) in Physiotherapy. She began working at Rochdale Hospital as a Junior Physiotherapist where she specialised in neurology in 2002. During her time at Rochdale Charlotte gained experience working with a wide variety of neurological conditions in different settings. These included the Floyd Unit for neurological rehabilitation, acute stroke unit and out-patients. She also worked closely with the neuro-rehabilitation consultant from the Floyd Unit in joint clinics on managing spasticity. Charlotte worked as a senior physiotherapist at Rochdale until November 2006. During this time she developed and lead a Work Based Learning programme for the Junior and Senior II Physiotherapists in neurology. She also developed a special interest in Pilates and attended a course with the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute. This proved useful to help improve core stability in the neurological patients she treated. Charlotte has attended a Basic and an Advanced Bobath course. Charlotte is enjoying becoming part of the team at the Manchester Neurotherapy Centre.

Linzi Meadows

Biography:
MSc BSc(Hons) MCSP SRP and Advanced Bobath Tutor (IBITA) Linzi trained as a Chartered Physiotherapist at Manchester Royal Infirmary, qualifying in 1982. She started to specialise in Neurology during 1985 when she became the senior therapist at a Manchester Stroke Unit. She received a Bachelor of Honours degree in Health Care and welfare at Salford University in 1992. In 1995 she was responsible for setting up one of the first Neurological Outreach Services in the UK, providing seamless multi-disciplinary care for neurological patients in Central Manchester. She qualified as a Bobath Tutor in 1997 and is a member of BBTA (British Bobath Tutors Association), one of only 15 Bobath Tutors in the UK. She has taught widely both nationally and internationally in the Bobath Concept as a member of IBITA (International Bobath Instructor Training Association). She has completed a Masters Degree in the Bobath Concept at Leeds Metropolitan University gaining a merit.

Lynne Fletcher

Biography:
MCSP SRP and Advanced Bobath Tutor (IBITA) Lynne trained as a Chartered Physiotherapist at Withington Hospital Manchester, qualifying in 1975. She began to specialise in the treatment of stroke patients very soon after qualification when working as a senior therapist at North Manchester General Hospital. She attended her Bobath Course, taught by Mrs and Dr Bobath in 1978 and began training as a tutor in 1980. She became Superintendent at Florence Nightingale Hospital, and was in charge of the specialised stroke unit. She qualified as a Bobath Tutor in 1985 and as an Advanced Bobath Tutor in 1993 and is a member of BBTA. She has taught extensively nationally and internationally as an IBITA member and has considerable experience in treating Neurological patients. Lynne began working in Private Practice in 1994.
