Rating from 2 Reviews I was given a likely diagnosis efficiently and thoroughlyGareth, UK, 17 Sep 17

I was assessed for a diagnosis of a left knee injury. I was seen on time and had a very thorough assessment and examination. I was given a likely diagnosis efficiently and thoroughly. Had a suspected tear to my meniscus (cartilage) diagnosed and referral to my GP for onward scan and treatment by specialist. Chose this clinic from previous positive experience. Well established clinic with a very good reputation. Reliable, friendly & efficient.

Rating from 1 Review I will recommend this practice to my family and friendsSue, UK, 13 Jul 16

Following a weekend of acute back pain and there being no emergency appointments at the doctors!!! I was recommended to your good selves by a neighbor of my parents. I was able to see a team member on day I phoned. I have had my initial diagnosis with home work and I start my treatment on Friday. What about that for service I will recommend this practice to my family and friends. From start to finish so far so good from the warm welcome of the reception staff to my treatment by Sarah which was thorough and not rushed. I am looking forward to my subsequent visits and if I have problems in the future then the Winchester sports and spine center will be on speed dial.

Agilaflex Clinic - Chiropractic Clinic in the UK

Agilaflex Clinic

107 High street, First Floor, Winchester, SO23 9AH
No matter how the pain in your back, neck or joints started, the good news is that the end is now in sight. You’ve arrived at Agilaflex, Winchester’s centre of chiropractic, osteopathy and physiotherapy specialists. Unlike GPs, we have no quotas to meet, targets to hit or time restraints to stick to. Unlike sports centres, we treat all kinds of pain, not those that result from injury. And unlike some centres of alternative medicine, we aim to clarify rather than mystify. We’ve successfully treated all kinds of problems using established, evidence-based methods as verified by the General Chiropractic, Osteopathy and Health Professions Councils. We go to great lengths to understand the exact nature of your complaint, employing the latest techniques and X-ray equipment. All of which is aimed at getting you back to a normal, pain-free existence, whether that means putting on your socks or putting in a round on the golf course. Book online, call us for an appointment or just come in and talk to us over a coffee. You’ll find it’s not only a welcome relief to find someone who’ll listen. But also reassuring to discover people who’ll bend over backwards to help you.
Physiotherapist Consultation £42 - £110
Our physiotherapy care is aimed at supporting you in your return to normal, often following an injury, surgery, or trauma, often termed rehabilitation. Whether your problem is a sprained joint, back or neck pain or another associated condition, our physiotherapists can help you directly or guide you to an appropriate course of care with one of our other practitioners. Our physiotherapists use a combination of treatments that generally includes exercise-based care, ultrasound and interferential tools. This approach can be particularly effective in the management of joint conditions that may be as a result of overuse or repetitive strain type movements or activity based injuries. Often, this type of care will involve rebalancing muscle ratios and guidance in how to better perform in your own exercise and hobbies. All of our physiotherapists are registered with the UK statutory regulatory body – The Health Professions Council. Only professionals suitably qualified and registered with this body may use the title physiotherapist. In addition our physiotherapists are registered with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists – the educational and industry body representing the industry. This body binds all of their members, and our clinicians, to their rules of professional conduct. Our musculoskeletal physiotherapy practitioners have specialised in the areas of back, neck and joint conditions. This they have done following their full time degree education in the subject and significant professional experience prior to joining Agilaflex Clinic. If you are uncertain as to the type of care you need, all of our clinicians can provide you guidance on what course of care will be most suitable to help you in your return to normal.

Physio 2 Fit - Mr Jon Clarke

Physio 2 Fit

Winchester Rd, Chandlers Ford, SO53 2GB
Rating from 4 Reviews Steadily returning to normalStuart, Southampton, 23 Jun 15

First time in physio and was treated for back pain. After treatment the back pain has been relieved and having followed the exercise program it has been steadily returning to normal. Would recommend and am returning for a second visit at my request. There was no pressure to continue treatment unless I felt it necessary, which was great. The venue is a small clinic which has its own gym and personal trainers as well as a physio clinic. The staff were friendly and the physiotherapist that I saw was very knowledgeable and helped me a lot.

Sports Massage £40 - £50
Sports MassageSport Massage therapy includes the assessment of the soft tissues of the body to help prevent and manage dysfunction, injury, pain or physical disorders. This is achieved by the physical, manual manipulation of the soft tissues with supportive advice on exercise and training. For many thousands of years massage has been used effectively to deal with minor soft tissue conditions (affecting muscles, ligaments and tendons), and its uses and benefits are no less today than they have ever been. Many general aches and pains that are caused by lifestyle stresses are minor soft tissue conditions. Although they may recover naturally over time this is often not the case and they can develop into more serious and complex issues. Remedial massage has shown over the years to be a fast and effective way of dealing with these minor soft tissue conditions by assisting the body’s own natural repair processes So why have a Sports Massage?Well apart from the fact it makes you feel good, the following are benefits that are felt following a massage, Greater mobility through increased joint range of motionIncreased flexibilityIncreased sense of well beingDecreased recovery times between workoutsRelieve Muscle TensionDecreased chance of injury through early identification of potential problemsAid athlete’s pre and post event to help prepare and decrease recovery timeRestores Nutrition in the bodyImproves posture allowing the body to function more effectivelyIncrease lymphatic flow, reduce pain and speed up the body’s own healing processesSport and remedial massage is not just about preventing those niggly overuse injuries and easing aches and pains caused by training, it can dramatically decrease the amount of time taken to recover from an injury and is invaluable at reducing those extra problems that arise as part of coping with an i

Go Physio - Chandlers Ford

11 Bournemouth Road, Chandlers Ford, SO53 3DA
Rating from 5 Reviews Excellent, very professional yet friendly service throughoutCarol, UK, 02 Mar 18

Went along with back pain. After several Physio sessions I joined a basic Pilates course and have now signed up for an intermediate course. Excellent, very professional yet friendly service throughout. The first appointment was the same day as I called. My Physio took the time to understand my health properly and treated me successfully. He advised me when I was ready to join a Pilates course, which has been really helpful. Reception staff all quickly learned my name and are very friendly but not at all intrusive. I would definitely come back for any future issues.
