I have nothing but praise for the clinic and its staff, including those on the reception deskMr_Michael, UK, 08 04 18

Came initially for Pilates classes as I have Parkinson's Disease. I wanted to improve my general fitness to help minimise further degeneration. The initial sessions with Kim identified a muscular problem in my right hip caused by PD impacting on my posture which she treated very expertly. The problem resurfaced months later but was again effectively treated and has not bothered me since. I have nothing but praise for Kim's excellent diagnostic and therapeutic skills. I would have no hesitation in returning for treatment in the future should it be necessary. Again I have nothing but praise for the clinic and its staff, including those on the reception desk. The Pilates beginner classes I have attended have been excellent. Never more than 10 people in the group with very focused and useful personal feedback throughout each session. Initially with Sarah and later with Francesca and now with Kim. I have been very impressed by the knowledge and teaching capabilities of the physiotherapists. These classes have become very important in my own personal battle with PD. Needless to say, I have recommended the clinic to friends and family.

Steadily returning to normalStuart, Southampton, 23 06 15

First time in physio and was treated for back pain. After treatment the back pain has been relieved and having followed the exercise program it has been steadily returning to normal. Would recommend and am returning for a second visit at my request. There was no pressure to continue treatment unless I felt it necessary, which was great. The venue is a small clinic which has its own gym and personal trainers as well as a physio clinic. The staff were friendly and the physiotherapist that I saw was very knowledgeable and helped me a lot.

Sports MassageSport Massage therapy includes the assessment of the soft tissues of the body to help prevent and manage dysfunction, injury, pain or physical disorders. This is achieved by the physical, manual manipulation of the soft tissues with supportive advice on exercise and training. For many thousands of years massage has been used effectively to deal with minor soft tissue conditions (affecting muscles, ligaments and tendons), and its uses and benefits are no less today than they have ever been. Many general aches and pains that are caused by lifestyle stresses are minor soft tissue conditions. Although they may recover naturally over time this is often not the case and they can develop into more serious and complex issues. Remedial massage has shown over the years to be a fast and effective way of dealing with these minor soft tissue conditions by assisting the body’s own natural repair processes So why have a Sports Massage?Well apart from the fact it makes you feel good, the following are benefits that are felt following a massage, Greater mobility through increased joint range of motionIncreased flexibilityIncreased sense of well beingDecreased recovery times between workoutsRelieve Muscle TensionDecreased chance of injury through early identification of potential problemsAid athlete’s pre and post event to help prepare and decrease recovery timeRestores Nutrition in the bodyImproves posture allowing the body to function more effectivelyIncrease lymphatic flow, reduce pain and speed up the body’s own healing processesSport and remedial massage is not just about preventing those niggly overuse injuries and easing aches and pains caused by training, it can dramatically decrease the amount of time taken to recover from an injury and is invaluable at reducing those extra problems that arise as part of coping with an i

I had a positive experienceMrs, Southampton, 14 05 17

I've had problems with my shoulder for months and Sally was very understanding about all of it and after a consultation and examination of my shoulder which we both suspect is early stage frozen and also my upper back was painful. Sally thought it could be a combination of both as all the muscles around my thoracic spine were very tight. After two lots of physio treatment on my back,it has helped the pain in my shoulder, I have more movement now and will continue to practice the recommended exercises by Sally to enable me to have more shoulder movement. Sally is friendly and understanding and also very approachable, flexible and gave good sound advice. I would recommend Sally and feel it was good value. I chose this clinic because it was local and convenient. My visit was positive with a nice friendly lady who puts you at ease and who was very understanding and knowledgeable, giving good advice.
