I’m Julie Boyd, a registered Osteopath and Naturopath. I am passionate about your health and well-being. I will take time to understand your condition and the impact it is having on your life so I can formulate the best way to help you.  After a detailed examination to establish the root cause of the problem you can expect treatment to include a combination of hands on physical mobilisation, manipulation, soft tissue massage or cranial osteopathy.   Appropriate self-care advice will be provided to help you maintain your well-being and prevent recurrence of the problem; this may include exercises, dietary advice, postural advice, hydrotherapy and stress-management. Osteopaths are trained in differential diagnosis, so if I consider the cause of your problem is something other than musculoskeletal this will be explained to you and the most appropriate referral route will be discussed.

After spending four years training at the prestigious British School of Osteopathy Joe gained his Master’s degree in Osteopathy. After completing his degree Joe returned to his homeland of Suffolk and has been practising here ever since. Joe developed an interest in Osteopathy and the musculoskeletal system following several years competing in endurance sports, with triathlons as a particular favourite. It was through several injuries that Joe discovered his interest in manual therapy. Following his training, Joe has a keen interest in spinal mechanics and enjoys treating acute and chronic back pain. As part of his training, he worked in the British School of Osteopathy’s clinic for 2 years, and worked with specialist groups such as: expectant mothers, children, sports injuries and the elderly. After working in a variety of these specialist clinics Joe has also developed an interest in obstetrics and paediatrics, hoping to develop these skills further in the future. Throughout his training Joe has always focused on giving patients a clear diagnosis and a clear plan on how he’ll get them back on their feet again. Never afraid of a challenge, Joe continues to work with a variety on conditions and strives to do the best for his patients.
