From the moment I arrived, he guided me through every step—assisting with paperwork, coordinating with the doctor, and checking in on me throughout my blood transfusion. Omer’s kindness, patience, and professionalism were evident from the start. Despite the language barrier with the very kind Doctor who attended to me — since I couldn’t speak the local Turkish language and my kind Doctor who doesn’t speak English — Omer made communication seamless, making me feel completely understood and cared for. His calm and compassionate presence turned what could have been a nerve-wracking experience into something far more manageable. As someone with thalassemia intermediate, I’ve undergone many transfusions over the years, but the level of care Omer provided really touched me. He made sure I was comfortable every step of the way, and his genuine concern for my well-being left a lasting impression. If you are reading this review you are in the same situation I was once upon a time! To decide on where to do one of the biggest and most life-changing surgeries in your life, vaginoplasty! I was in your position once and read about doctors and looked at the results! But as important is the recovery! I ended up in the Im Clinic because of the beautiful results from their webpage and their many reviews of smooth recoveries, but also because of the amazing communication between the patient and the surgeon! You get free consultations before and after surgery to ensure that all questions is answered! I remember I was mindblown after my first consultation, the surgeon told me I didn't ask enough questions and wanted to set up a new consultation to ask more questions before I made my decision! They are not pushing you into choosing the Im Clinic, they rather want you to make an informed decision for what's best for you! I am now 4 months post-op, and I have never been happier! My result has become pretty much as the pictures shown on the website (just a bit more swollen, but this will go down)! The dilation schedule is very easy with 3 dilations daily the first month, then 2 dilations daily the next 2 months and once a day for the next 3 months! I can share that I have started physiotherapy and she was amazed at how natural it looked and how natural it also felt! She has worked 30 years helping women with a tight private part and she could not feel the difference between me and a cis-female! I have never been happier! Dr Labanca and the amazing patient coordinator Rosa have changed my life in ways I never thought possible! They truly are angels in my eyes, for me the impossible has become possible! I can feel like myself after a bit more than 20 years of living in the wrong body! Remember this is not an easy surgery to recover from, so to have a secure network like the Im gender medical team around at my disposal has been crucial for my recovery! I had 3 major surgeries with Dr. Herrero: FFS (Facial Feminisation Surgery), Colo-vaginoplasty and then a combination of 360° liposuction with lipo sculpting to breasts and buttocks over a period of around a year. The FFS was perhaps even more life-changing than the colo-vaginoplasty in terms of everyday life. The results were fantastic and while I may opt for some minor additional changes years later. I find no fault in the work done, the recovery or the experience. For a more mathematical response; in gender recognition software my face was seen as 80%+ masculine before the surgery and after recovery, the score was consistently 96% female. Most cis-women I know who tried this software scored 70-80% female. I could not expect anything better. As for the colo-vaginoplasty... Simply amazing. I had a Gynaecologist in Taiwan give me a vaginal inspection recently, she asked me when I had my hysterectomy while she was using the speculum. It was that good! As for sensitivity, mind-blowing. It took 3 or 4 months to heal enough to learn that, but 3 or 4 years later I am still amazed at what this body can experience now. As for the BBL and lipo work, again, very happy. Not as life-changing as the other two results, but the quality is just as good and I am very happy with my body in a way I never thought I would be. Also, Dr. Herrero is a gentleman, kind, took the time to explain things, was gentle and understood my needs completely.
