Prof. Dr. Halil Ibrahim Bekler was born in Istanbul in 1960. He completed his primary school education in Istanbul. He finished High School in Saint-Joseph in 1979. In 1985 he graduated from the Istanbul Faculty of Medicine. In the same year, he started to work as a resident doctor at Tokat Akbelen Health Center. Between 1987 and 1991, he specialized in Orthopedics and Traumatology at SiSli Etfal Hospital. Between 1993 and 1994, he worked as an assistant professor at Dicle University Faculty of Medicine in Diyarbakır, Turkey. Later, he worked as the Head of the Hand Surgery Department at American Hospital. In 1999, he studied microsurgery at Cleveland Medical Center.

He worked as a specialist in Orthopedics and Traumatology and Hand Microsurgery in many private hospitals in Istanbul. Between 2006-2007, he worked as a Hand and Microsurgery Specialist at Columbia University School of Medicine. In 2008, he became an associate professor of orthopedics at Yeditepe University Faculty of Medicine. Between 2009 and 2015, he worked as Chief of Orthopedics at Lütfi Kırdar Kartal Hospital and he trained many Assistant Specialists. He became Professor in 2016.

He performs hand and microsurgery procedures at Avicenna Atasehir Hospital and offers effective treatments for knee and hip prostheses in the field of Orthopedics and Traumatology.

He is working as a general surgeon at Atasehir Avicenna Hospital since 2005. Born in Kayseri in 1960. He obtained his medical degree from Ankara University in 1983, after his graduation, he joined the military units for two years. He completed his residency and majored in general surgery in 1986-1990 in GATA. After his specialization, he worked as head of the general surgery department and chief physician in several military hospitals such as Tatvan, Diyarbakir, Ankara, and Manisa.

Since 1995, he has been particularly interested in endoscopic surgery. He received training in advanced laparoscopic surgery techniques in Germany and performed gallbladder and abdominal wall, inguinal hernia, appendicitis, stomach and reflux surgeries, as well as gastrointestinal tumors, intestinal obstruction, and other intestinal infections and diseases all by laparoscopic method. From 2002, he started working in the private sector. In addition to his specialty, one of his other interests was Anal diseases, where he applies lasers and other modern treatment methods in the treatment of hemorrhoids, fistula, and fissures.

He has succeeded in applying new treatment methods as well, to eliminate the risk of complications in breast cancer treatment. In addition to surgical endoscopic techniques in the treatment of obesity and diabetes, thus patients get rid of excess weight permanently and lower the ratio of developing diabetes.

I graduated from Ankara University, Faculty of Medicine, in 1984. After compulsory service, I was sent abroad (England, Saudi Arabia, Greece, Russia) for a long time to study and work in the fields of gynecology and disability. In 1997, I received my specialist training from Kartal Training and Research Hospital. Following my training, I worked at Kartal SSK hospital. In 2001, I went to Tel Aviv University in Israel and received training in vitro fertilization and reproductive endocrinology. After returning to Turkey, I opened my own in vitro fertilization center (hospital ivf center). Following the closure of the hospital in which my IVF center was located due to economic reasons, I started practicing private medicine. A while after that, I started working as the manager of The Gynecological Oncology and IVF Center in Rodrum Acibadem Hospital. Then, I returned to Istanbul for family reasons, and continued my work in private hospitals as a specialist in gynecological oncology and IVF.
