Aromatherapy Massage Worldwide

Aromatherapy combines massage techniques together with essential oils from plants, to help restore balance in the body and help to improve physical and emotional well-being. The essential oils may be extracted from various parts of the plant eg. the fruits, flowers, leaves, grass, roots, wood, bark, resin and blossom. It uses the principle that strengthening the body’s own immune system is the most effective way to prevent illness and promote health and so help to restore the harmony between mind, body and spirit. It gives a history of aromatherapy, what it is all about, and how we use it today. A full body aromatherapy massage lasts for approximately 60 minutes and is performed on a treatment couch. Towels are used throughout the treatment to ensure modesty. A back, neck and shoulder massage is also available and lasts approximately 30 minutes.
