We offer a complete service for Chinese medicine, including acupuncture, herbal remedies, massage, cupping, and more. We can treat muscular-skeletal and nerve problems, skin conditions, internal disorders, emotional problems, genito-urinary issues, respiratory illnesses, and general problems like addiction and weight.

The couple was lovely, but they only offered me tablets. I explained that taking tablets scares me, so I didn’t take them. As a result, I’m still in the same position—still scared and still suffering from panic. I don’t feel any better.
We offered the treatment in good faith, but medicine can't work if it is left on the shelf. Chinese herbs are not like medication, they are more like food that nourishes you. If you are unable to swallow the capsules you can make them into a hot drink by simply adding hot water and stirring. If you still feel unable to take them then return them and we will refund you.
I have been having acupuncture since 1976, but Dr Zang is by far the very best for all kinds of ailments. I have recommended many people to her over the years. I completely trust her.

Dr Bob Bowles is our chief administrator and translation assistant.
Bob has led a varied career. He first graduated from UEA (Theoretical Physics BSc 1982, PhD 1986) and started out in academic Physics research at University of Southampton. Since then he has worked in the chemical industry (ICI), re-trained in Psychology (BA 1995, Liverpool University), worked in Psychology research (University of Essex, Cambridge University), and then the retail IT industry (PCMS, Coventry) where he ended up running his own company (Bob Bowles Consultancy Ltd). Most recently he spent 2 years in China teaching Corporate Business English in Shenyang and Dalian.
Bob has been interested in Oriental philosophy and healing and exercise systems for most of his life. As a teenager he practised Tai Quon Do, but moved on to Hatha Yoga and then Tai Ji Quan, which he has practised for more than 20 years.
Dr Zhang Dehua is our senior clinician.
Dr Zhang belongs to a family with a tradition of medical practice for over three generations. In addition to her formal education and more than 20 years practical experience of healing in the Chinese tradition, her parents are also practitioners, as were her grandparents. It can truly be said that healing runs in her family.
Dr Zhang graduated from Liaoning College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1985. Since then she has practised her arts of acupuncture, massage, herbal preparations and associated remedies at Tieling Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital, until she moved to England in 2007. Dr Zhang initially worked in the UK for a high-street chain of Traditional Chinese Medicine clinics, but since July 2008 she felt she could provide a better service to her clients by working independently.
Dr Zhang’s main speciality is in the use of spinal massage for the treatment of chronic back problems, for which she published her thesis, 'Observations of therapeutic effects of acupressure massage treatment on cervical spondylopathy', followed by other publications in the Chinese medical literature. However, her breadth of experience enables her to diagnose and treat a wide variety of conditions in whatever way is most appropriate in each case. Typical conditions she has successfully treated include digestive disorders, gynaecological problems, sports injuries, skin problems, metabolic disorders, respiratory problems, depression, and the chronic diseases associated with ageing.
