Her approach to massage is very holistic and I have no hesitation giving her a 5 star review. Maria doesn’t just massage your body, she massages your soul! She is exceptionally kind, warm and caring, not to mention strong. You can tell that Maria takes pride in every aspect of her treatment. The clinic is welcoming, warm, tidy and clean. I couldn’t fault it. I was also impressed with how beautifully her vouchers are presented.

Archview Physiotherapy Pain and Sports Injury Clinic Ranelagh

Rating from 4 Reviews Entire experience was nothing short of exceptionalD, Ireland, 19 Nov 16

Arrived in Dublin from the US with a very stiff neck. By mid morning I could not move my neck, shooting pain in my muscles and lower back, looked on line for a massage and called Archview. Lynsey suggested physiotherapy and two hours later I was at the clinic. The treatment was new to me, pins similar to those used for acupuncture were used on my neck muscles to relieve the spasms. After 45 minutes of this treatment the excruciating pain was gone and I could move my head again without holding it between my hands, my jaw worked, headache gone. My wife is signed up now to see if the same results can be achieved on her back.

The procedure was done promptly and with excellent serviceOrlaith, South Africa, 25 Jul 17

The lady that attended me at the Archview Physiotherapy Pain and Sports Injury Clinic for my Dry Needling appointment was incredible. I was fitted on for the appointment without having to wait for several days and the procedure was done promptly and with excellent service. The clinic was very helpful when it came to giving me treatment at an affordable price and with excellent service so I have no problem giving them the best rate.

Acupressure €70
Acupressureis a therapy that uses precise finger placement and pressure over specificpoints along the body. These points follow specific channels, known as meridians- the same channels used in acupuncture. According to Asian medical philosophy, activation of these points with pressure (or needles) can improve blood flow, release tension, and enhance or unblock life-energy, known in China as"qi" or in the English-speaking world as "chi." Thisrelease allows energy to flow more freely through the meridians, promotingrelaxation, healing and the restoration of proper function. Acupressuretherapy can be used to relieve pain, reduce tension in muscles, improvecirculation and promote deep states of relaxation. It is often done by massagetherapists and other bodyworkers, but can also be learned as a technique to bedone oneself. Individuals can be treated, then trained in various self-careapplications and pressure-point formulas for specific conditions. These includenausea and vomiting, motion sickness, headaches, neck and back pain, as well aschronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, mental and emotional stress, even addictionrecovery and learning disorders.

Acupressure €45  -  €60
Acupressure [from Latin acus "needle" + pressure] is an alternative medicine technique similar in principle to Acupuncture. It is based on the concept of life energy which flows through "meridians" in the body.  I n treatment, physical pressure is applied to trigger points with the aim of clearing blockages in these meridians. Pressure may be applied by hand, by elbow, or with various devices. Acupoints used in treatment may or may not be in the same area of the body as the targeted symptom. The Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) theory for the selection of such points and their effectiveness is that they work by stimulating the meridian system to bring about relief by rebalancing Yin, Yang Blood and Qi (also spelled "chi"). This theory is based on the paradigm of TCM Many East Asian Martial Arts also make extensive study and use of acupressure for self-defense and health purposes (Tui Na). Martial artists regularly massage their own acupressure points in routines to remove blockages from their own meridians, claiming to thereby enhance their circulation and flexibility and keeping the points "soft" or less vulnerable to an attack.
