I contacted HERO Institute approximately a year ago and was very impressed by their professionalism and courtesy from day one. Granted I was a bit sceptical (as most men are) about the legitimacy of their credentials and experience level. Let me just say, all doubts have been laid to rest! I’m 36 and was concerned about my ever recessing hairline, when I spoke to Dr Maldonado he explained that I had about a 5-year window to decide. That lit a fire and propelled me to make a more prompt decision, shave it off or restore it. I opted to do a full restoration consisting of 2 surgeries 1 Robotic FUE and 1 Manuel FUE. This was the best decision/investment of my social and business life I’ve ever made. I’m am absolutely impressed, satisfied and ecstatic with the results and the stellar treatment I received. I was operated on by one of HERO’S specialized surgeons, both he and the surgical staff were very, knowledgeable, considerate, efficient, and caring! I would absolutely recommend them to anyone who wishes to avoid overpaying and desires a top-notch experience without the top-notch price tag! It was also nice to do this in Colombia where none of my friends, colleges or tennis partners knows me, it was a bit easier to “disguise” my transformation. Being on Zoom so much in the pandemic didn’t hurt either. Fantastic Doctors and staff. I had a tummy tuck and liposuction. I was so happy after my procedure and I looked fabulous, the care I had was exceptional. I’ve been a patient twice…2019 and 2023. The first time, I got upper and lower eye lifts, lower facelifts, and chemical peel and stayed overnight with a 1:1 wonderful nurse in the room with me. The next time I got a chemical peel and wanted a neck lift, but was told during consultation that doing another lower facelift would address the neck. So, I did that again. I did not stay overnight because the staff was making so much noise in adjoining rooms that I decided it best to return to my hotel The surgeons are kind and skilled; the nursing staff were more attentive and professional in 2019, but overall fine in 2023. I felt fine caring for myself with the frequent scheduled follow-up visits with nursing and the docs, more than what you’d get in the US. Thrilled with my results. I look 100% natural, just younger, and fresher, and feel way more confident about my appearance. I’d definitely go back in a few years as needed. I trust the doctors 100%.

Better than expected! I had surgery with Dr. Muñoz and his team. The attention to detail was absolutely perfect, as well as the result (see picture 8 months later). They arranged the whole trip for me, including the hotel (I stayed in the 5-star Secrets Royal Beach Punta Cana), which is on the same resort as the clinic and it was all very affordable, as was the transfer from the airport-hotel-airport. I paid $4.500 for the transplant and $500 for a 3-night stay at the hotel. They really looked after me well during the whole stay and I had a good time. 100% recommend them.

I have been going to see Dr. Sylvia for the past 5 years, she has an incredible bedside manner. She is patient, answers all your questions, and also educates on each procedure. Her aid Rosi, has over a decade of experience and has been a great addition to the team. Over the last few years, I have done laser, fillers, facials, vitamins both in my face and body. I even trust her with my mom. I look forward to many more years with her. For reference I am 41, and my mom is 69.
