Not a day passes without my thinking about my absolute gratitude to Dr Jose Jesus, Salome, Inez and the team, for our two beautiful daughters Isabel and Olivia now 11 and 7. Our experience at Vistahermosa Clinic, - after 5 years of failed IVFs and bitter disappointment in the UK - was actually so joyful. The team were kind, sensitive and actually excited for me - even before we knew whether each treatment had worked. I would recommend so highly, and am so thankful, not just that the egg donation treatment worked, but they all helped me believe it could! Follow-up care was also excellent- I rang a couple of times directly when I was worried. There was a calm, confident response each time. With this in mind, we have created  SecureFIV , the combination of in vitro fertilisation (IVF) and PGT-A pre-implantation genetic testing to detect alterations in the number of chromosomes in embryos and anuploidy, which allows the embryos with the highest probability of implantation to be selected, increasing the success rates of IVF cycles and the chance of having a healthy baby at home.
Shared Motherhood - ROPA technique 5000 € - 5300 €
The ROPA method is aimed at female couples so that both are able to participate biologically in the pregnancy and experience shared motherhood. ROPA stands for Reception of Oocytes from the Partner, a medical reproductive procedure carried out in Spain for the last 10 years. An increasing number of female couples are using this assisted reproduction technique in order to become mothers. The ROPA method technique is the same as in vitro fertilisation with egg donation, but the difference is that the donor is not anonymous, it is the future mother. The procedure is quick and only takes 15 days to complete. The success rate for this method is one of the highest for assisted reproduction treatments, ranging between 65 and 70%. However, the success of the pregnancy is closely linked to age and the ovarian reserve of the woman donating the egg. Another important factor to take into account is the condition of the gestational mother’s uterus; any pathologies may reduce the probability of pregnancy.

Egg donation is indicated for older women suffering from a primary ovarian insufficiency (also known as premature ovarian failure), from a premature or surgical menopause, or for those who are carriers of genetic disorders, have repeatedly undergone unsuccessful in vitro fertilisation cycles (IVF), or who have repeatedly experienced unexplained miscarriages. It is a process in which a fertile woman offers her eggs to another woman for purposes of reproduction. The ROPA method is one of the most innovative techniques and increasingly used today by couples of women who want to be mothers together. This technique emerges as an alternative to artificial insemination with a donor, which was the method used a few years ago for female homosexual couples. The ROPA Method, also known as “shared maternity”, consists of carrying out an IVF/ICSI cycle in which the two women will be involved, one providing the eggs and the other woman, carrying in her womb the resulting embryo. In the first place, one of the women of the couple undergoes a stimulation and ovarian puncture from where we will obtain the eggs. On the same day of the egg retrieval, the eggs will be inseminated with the IVF or ICSI technique in assisted reproduction laboratories with a seminal donor sample. The embryos formed will be transferred to the uterus of the other woman of the couple, who will have carried a personalized endometrial preparation to guarantee implantation.
