Overall, I am satisfied with the surgery and remain hopeful for the best resultsAbdul, UK, 12 05 25

I would like to thank Dr. Derda Ozer for my surgery and follow-up appointment, as well as Hassan and Zainab from the MDO team. I am especially grateful to Hassan, who served as my host, translating everything for me and taking care of me throughout the process—from the airport to the hotel and from the hotel to the hospital. I will always be thankful to them for my procedure and for being such excellent hosts. I was well taken care of by Dr. Derda Ozer, and the hospital was well-equipped, with all the necessary facilities. My surgery went well, and on the same day, I was transferred to my hotel. The following day, I had a follow-up appointment. Hassan took me on a tour of Istanbul, visiting Aya Sofya, the Sultanahmet area, and the Blue Mosque. I am very thankful to him for being a great host; he speaks excellent English, explains everything clearly, and is a genuinely positive person, and treated me like an older brother. Regarding my surgery, everything went according to plan like we talked about before my visit. As for the results, I am partially satisfied and still recovering, waiting for the final outcome related to my squint eye. I remain in communication with the MDO team and have been advised to give it three months, as recovery times can vary. I may consider future courses of action later on. If I achieve an 80% correction of my squint, I will be very happy. After my surgery, my eye still shows a slight deviation, and the size of my operated eye is still smaller than that of the other eye. Overall, I am satisfied with the surgery and remain hopeful for the best results. I would definitely recommend MDO, as they are a genuine clinic, and the hospital they use for surgeries has all the necessary facilities and is based in Istanbul. They are a trustworthy company that takes great care of their patients, and without a doubt, they are neither fake nor fraudulent. The staff and team are very honest and generous.

Prosthetic - Eyes TL106993 - TL160490
A prosthetic eye, also known as an ocular prosthesis, is a custom-made artificial eye designed to replace an eye lost due to injury, disease, or congenital absence. Prosthetic eyes are intended to enhance cosmetic appearance, maintain facial symmetry, and improve self-confidence following eye loss. Procedure Steps: Consultation and Preparation: An ocularist (a specialist trained in making artificial eyes) evaluates your individual needs, takes detailed measurements, and prepares the eye socket. Impression: A precise impression of the eye socket is made to ensure a perfect, comfortable fit. Fabrication: The prosthetic eye is carefully handcrafted and painted to match the color, size, and appearance of your natural eye. Fitting: The completed prosthesis is placed into the socket, where it is carefully adjusted for comfort and a natural appearance. Follow-up: Regular follow-up appointments are necessary to ensure comfort, proper fit, and address any concerns or adjustments needed over time. Benefits: Prosthetic eyes significantly enhance aesthetic appearance and facial symmetry, providing psychological comfort and improved self-esteem. They also help protect the socket from environmental factors such as dust and debris. Risks: While prosthetic eyes are generally safe, risks include irritation, discomfort, infection, or discharge. These issues can typically be managed through proper care, hygiene, and routine visits with the ocularist or healthcare provider.
RLE - Refractive Lens Exchange
RLE - Refractive Lens Exchange TL40122 - TL187238
Refractive Lens Exchange (RLE)Refractive Lens Exchange (RLE) is a safe and effective surgical procedure designed to correct vision by replacing the eye's natural lens with an artificial intraocular lens (IOL). This procedure is typically recommended for individuals with presbyopia, high degrees of farsightedness, nearsightedness, or those who aren't ideal candidates for laser vision correction. RLE is usually performed on an outpatient basis, allowing you to return home the same day. Procedure Steps: Preparation: Your eye will be numbed with anesthetic drops, and you may receive sedation to help you relax. Incision: The surgeon makes a small incision in the cornea to access the natural lens. Lens Removal: The natural lens is gently fragmented and removed using a technique called phacoemulsification. IOL Implantation: An artificial IOL is inserted through the small incision and positioned securely within the lens capsule. Completion: The incision typically seals naturally without stitches, ensuring rapid recovery. Recovery: Vision improvement is often noticeable within a few days, with full visual stabilization occurring within several weeks. You'll need prescribed eye drops to manage inflammation and prevent infection during the recovery period. Benefits: RLE significantly improves visual clarity, reduces dependence on glasses or contact lenses, and provides permanent correction for refractive errors, particularly beneficial for individuals over 50. Risks: Although RLE is highly successful, potential risks include infection, increased eye pressure, retinal detachment, or visual disturbances such as glare or halos. Such complications are rare and usually treatable if promptly addressed.

The professionalism and care I received exceeded my expectationsHoucine, UK, 24 12 24

I recently had an incredible experience with Dr. Osman Tuğrul Güzeldir and the team at Koru Private Hospital. From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized by Mehmet Emin Karagöz, who ensured every detail was taken care of – from pick-up to scheduling appointments with the doctors, addressing my concerns, and making sure I was comfortable throughout the process. Dr. Osman Tuğrul Güzeldir was exceptional. He was well-spoken, straightforward, and took the time to clearly explain the procedure and what to expect. His professionalism and skill gave me complete confidence, and I am very happy with the results. The staff and facilities at Koru Private Hospital were equally impressive. The professionalism and care I received exceeded my expectations, making this a truly positive and seamless experience. Highly recommended!

Overall the doctor was very professionalLara, Netherlands, 09 02 24

I came from Finland for surgery with the doctor. As the surgery would be 1/5 of the price of what I would have to pay in in my own home country. I visited the doctor and he examined me and took the time to do all the proper tests to see if I needed the surgery or not. Turns out I had been misdiagnosed and there was no need for the surgery after all!! Though I did not need surgery, I can 100% recommend the doctor since he could have very easily said oh yeah sure let's do it, and just take my money! Overall the doctor was very professional and I could see that he had a lot of expertise and accumulated knowledge and it felt I could trust him. More than that the doctor’s assistant is amazing, speaks very good English, and provided clear and informed communication along the process. Very thankful for their efforts.

I'm thrilled with my resultsNauman, Turkey, 05 09 24

I recently had laser eye surgery at Orbit Tip Merkezi, and it has truly been a life-changing experience—I've achieved 20/20 vision! I feel incredibly fortunate to have found such a professional team. From the moment I arrived, Buraq welcomed me and stayed by my side, treating me like family. I was initially quoted £5,500 for the procedure at Harley Street, but coming here was the best decision I could have made. The existing reviews don't do this clinic justice; for anyone in the UK or US considering laser eye surgery, this is the place to go. Dr. Feyaz is one of the top five laser eye specialists in Antalya. In fact, he and four other leading doctors were instrumental in bringing laser eye surgery to Türkiye. My experience was smooth—I underwent 90 minutes of thorough testing, had my eyes checked, proceeded with the operation on the same day, and attended two follow-up visits. The clinic even arranged pick-up and drop-off services, making the process incredibly convenient. One of the key reasons to choose Orbit Tip Merkezi is their specialized focus—they only treat eyes. Unlike other clinics that offer multiple medical services, Orbit Tip Merkezi is dedicated to eye care. In Antalya, some clinics will push you towards no-touch laser surgery regardless of whether it's suitable for you, which can be detrimental if your cornea thickness isn't ideal. At Orbit, they provide expert guidance on whether LASIK or PRK is right for you, ensuring your safety and the best possible results. I hope this review helps others make an informed choice. I'm thrilled with my results, and I can't thank the Orbit Tip Merkezi team enough. This has been life-changing for me! Thank you, Orbit Tip Merkezi!
