After years of frustration and thousands spent on other centres, I can confidently say that Dr. Yap and the team at IGARD are in a league of their own. If you are serious about your child’s vision issues—especially after receiving ineffective treatment elsewhere—IGARD is the only place you should be. What immediately sets them apart from other clinics is the sheer depth of their initial assessment. When we first consulted with Dr. Yap, we were coming off a six-month program at a competitor clinic that had confidently declared my child "cured," despite zero noticeable change in her reading ability. Other clinics perform generic vision exercises. Dr. Yap, in contrast, conducted a functional vision assessment that was exhaustive and provided a customised treatment. He diagnosed underlying issues that the previous clinic had completely missed, issues that were the root cause of her difficulty. This thoroughness is the defining factor; you are paying for an expert opinion, not guesswork. They produced results within a few sessions that we didn't see in six months at the other centre. For my child, this meant being able to finally track text without losing her place—something she struggled with for years. After speaking to other parents, I realise that we were one of those families who had wasted significant time and investment at a lesser clinic, only to find true success and relief once we switched to Dr. Yap. Dr.Sukanya and Dr.Saravanan are excellent doctors. They are very dedicated to their service. They give their genuine opinion regarding the patient's condition. Glasses made here are very precise.
