After further examination, Dr. Ferwerda diagnosed a cataract in my left eye and recommended lens replacement. The surgery was scheduled for the following Friday, and the operation was a success. Afterwards, I had a follow-up appointment, and Dr Ferwerda proceeded with the right eye surgery. Now, I can see perfectly without glasses—it's like entering a new world with clear vision. In conclusion, the Eye Clinic is extremely professional in every aspect, from booking appointments to tests, surgeries, and the final exam with Dr. Ferwerda. I came to BGN at Lotte World Tower to have laser eye surgery. They were wonderful, had nice staff, and even a translator who assisted me with all the steps and made sure things were explained to me in English. I was able to get the consult and surgery on the same day. I received a SMILE, which is a minimally invasive eye surgery with quick recovery time. The surgery itself lasted less than 10 minutes, and by that evening I was feeling well enough to have dinner with my family. I am now a week past surgery and my eyes are great... But best of all I CAN SEE 20/20 with NO contacts or glasses! My only regret was not doing it sooner. And to speak to the price- SMILE here at BGN cost less for both eyes than it would have cost me to get one eye done back in the USA. Fabulous experience and I would totally recommend it.
