Who is really keen to have eye surgery? Nobody. We researched for a long time and my wife was immediately convinced that she had found the right person when she called Dr. Ferwerder. The entire examination phase and the two operations went smoothly and everything was done within a week and we both had the operation, on both eyes. Dr. Ferwerder combines immense specialist knowledge, an unrivaled routine and a great team into a surgical experience and all of this is accompanied by a daily tsunami of humor. It's a shame that you only have two eyes, otherwise I would do it again straight away. I also know from conversations with friends and acquaintances, who did the same but in Malaysia, Singapore or Bangkok, that my result is the best. I hear completely different results and can happily report that we made the right decision to go for Dr. Ferwerder and his team. In addition, I really like his style, not everyone has to like it, but in my case it's a 100% fit! Thank you Dr. Ferwerder and team, after 4 weeks I have finally also stopped adjusting the glasses on my nose that I don't have. And he said, “Get up, throw away your glasses and see”!

I came to BGN at Lotte World Tower to have laser eye surgery. They were wonderful, had nice staff, and even a translator who assisted me with all the steps and made sure things were explained to me in English. I was able to get the consult and surgery on the same day. I received a SMILE, which is a minimally invasive eye surgery with quick recovery time. The surgery itself lasted less than 10 minutes, and by that evening I was feeling well enough to have dinner with my family. I am now a week past surgery and my eyes are great... But best of all I CAN SEE 20/20 with NO contacts or glasses! My only regret was not doing it sooner. And to speak to the price- SMILE here at BGN cost less for both eyes than it would have cost me to get one eye done back in the USA. Fabulous experience and I would totally recommend it.
