From the beginning Nikki gave me a five-star experience, giving me details and was very clear of what was going to happen. Marios who gave me my treatment ( Treatment for Wrinkles and fillers ) did so with total professionalism again taking me through every step and reassuring me. I felt I was in good hands and I’m so happy with the results. I was very nervous and on explaining to Matos I felt my face was lob sided he added filler to the correct places to equal my face out. He gives a very fair price and doesn’t do more than is needed. I’ll be back in 3 months time for my top up, together they are an amazing team and my visit was well worth the journey. I have never written a review all my life. I have my own reasons though. I could not wait to share my experience with this chemist when I went there yesterday 25th November 2021. The environment was superb. The staff were excellent and extremely helpful and polite. The pharmacist dealt with me. She knows her job really well, was patient and calm and very respectable. Shingles Vaccine from £149
What is Shingles? Shingles is an infection of a nerve and the area of skin supplied by the nerve. It is caused by a virus called the Varicella-zoster virus (this is the same virus that causes chickenpox). Shingles is sometimes called Herpes zoster. The symptoms of Shingles starts with tingling or burning in an area of the skin and is followed by the eruption of a painful rash usually on one side of the body or face that takes 2-4 weeks to resolve.  Shingles can occur at any age, but it is most common in people over the age of 50 years. About 1 in 4 people develop Shingles during their lifetime. It is also possible to get Shingles more than once, although fortunately fewer than 10% of people who have a first attack will have another one. Can Shingles be prevented? The good news is that there is now a Shingles vaccine available to people aged 50 and over. It has been shown to be effective in reducing the risk of older people developing Shingles, and even if you do develop Shingles then the disease is likely to affect you less severely. A national immunisation programme is available for those aged 70 - 79, but is being introduced in phases.  Can I be vaccinated privately?At Armada Travel Clinic we can offer it for those aged 50 or over. I have hobbled about for most of this year thinking I needed a hip replacement. My whole life has revolved around the horrendous pain and I have rattled with painkillers. Couldn't do anything, couldn't sleep. Life has been hell. I am normally active and in good health until this happened. Then Dr. Alder gave me a steroid injection and it has been a total miracle. The pain has gone and I no longer want to crawl into a hole and pull it in after me! Thank you sooo much for giving me my life back. I didn't think it was possible.
