As a child in the, I was traumatised by my experiences at the hands of the school dental service which I carried through into my adult life. After suffering from years of pain through various issues with my teeth, I plucked up courage to contact Ferndale House Dental Practice to make an appointment. My fear was so great that I was actually in tears during the call. I attended my first appointment physically shaking but had no cause to worry. My first steps inside the reception completely changed my opinion. Every member of staff are very polite, friendly and helpful. Mr Duran is amazing, he calmed my extensive nerves and during every consultation, he asks if I feel ok with what is being done and stops whenever I need to take a break. I can't recommend them highly enough

My daughter is currently going through the autism and ADHD diagnosis process, and every visit to Glumangate in Chesterfield has been a positive one. They always make her feel comfortable and never rush her. She actually loves going to the dentist now, which says a lot! Every dental nurse we've encountered has been incredibly patient, understanding, and supportive. Their gentle and accommodating approach makes all the difference. I have just returned from my six monthly appointment with Giles Saxon. I cannot speak highly enough of the professional way that he deals with his patients and the excellent service that he provides. He is well supported by his long standing assistant Angela and as a bonus he has obtained the services of a hygienist who although relatively young provided the best service I have ever experienced by a hygienist at a Dentist's practice. I can recommend this practice to anybody in need of a Dentist.

I have been a patient here for over fifty years. A very nervous, frightened one, who has normally needed sedating. Last month I became a patient of a new dentist, Freddy, who had joined the practice. A very professional, kind man, who immediately made me feel at ease, and built my confidence. I had a back tooth removed and a big filling. He talked me through every bit of the procedure, was so patient, didn't rush me, and gave me every opportunity to have a break or ask a question. It went so well and I was so proud, I had done this whilst awake. I could not have done this without the dentists understanding of my terror. I cannot recommend him higher. All of the staff are professional, courteous and friendly, everything runs smoothly and efficiently in a very up to date, clean safe environment.

Absolutely Amazing! Across the whole board. The care & compassion I have received is remarkable. I have extreme anxiety & the care & compassion I have experienced has truly been exceptional. The understanding from the boss, to the dental nurses, to the receptionists has been astonishing! I would never trust any other practise than this one. The practise on a whole is very welcoming, light, airy & very clean. I would like to thank you all very much for the trust I have now gained, thanks to such a wonderful team of lovely staff. I would like to add that dental care is very important for both myself & my children & I know with this dentist we will have thorough dental check-ups and very healthy teeth for years to come. Nothing is too much 😊
