Implant Dentist Consultation Bodrum

I had an 8-unit bridge that had been fitted in the late 1980s which was deteriorating and also a problematic crown from the same era, which was loose and was affecting adjacent teeth, so I had researched dental treatment in Turkey and the Focus Dental Clinic look promising so I arranged a consultation whilst on holiday in October 2023. The first thing that impressed me was the friendliness and professionalism of the staff, along with the state-of-the-art facilities, after a scan, the dentist picked up several problems which meant that replacement of the bridge would require implants, and we decided on “all on 6” for my top jaw, I booked in for the treatment in January 2024. I must stress it is a real team at Focus, my implants were done by Dr. Harika Köklü, all the work is peer reviewed and her husband Dr. Soykan Köklü and the dentist Mustafa Soner Bilgiç who fitted the temporary bridge, were consulted during the surgery. I had 12 extractions, removal of the old bridge, and 6 implants in the top jaw. Unlikely as it sounds the process was pretty painless, Dr Harika is amazing, skilful and empathic, ( and she has small hands too which is pretty important when you have around 5 hours of keeping your mouth open!) After the extractions and the implants had been placed and the gum stitched I had an impression taken for the temporary bridge. This was fitted the next morning, already a great improvement! I was given a course of antibiotics, mouthwash, and painkillers, (but all that was required was ibuprofen for one evening!) I am now 8 Weeks since surgery, the stitches have dissolved now and the gum is healed, I am looking forward to returning in May to complete the treatment. I looked long and hard at all the options, I am so happy to have chosen Focus and Dr. Harika Köklü.

I had 1 tooth cap for my existing implant and a deep scale and polish and I am extremely happy with it, Kubra was amazing, really professional, very knowledgeable & friendly would highly recommend her for any dental work. Also, Sarah & her husband Sid were both very helpful and attentive throughout our visits. Overall, very pleased with the whole experience and it cost me a fraction of the price I was quoted in the UK!

Well, what can I say, other than Dr Berna Atici is a miracle worker. I had 18 crowns and 8 laminated veneers and now I have my perfect smile. The price was over 40% cheaper than UK prices. Acibadem was recommended by a family member living in Bodrum currently undergoing treatment themselves at the hospital. I was welcomed at the Acibadem Hospital by all. Its looks amazing inside, so clean and fresh. Rebecca Hall and Steven Clarke were also amazing, these two are the hospital's foreign liaison specialists and they do make you laugh and smile. My treatment lasted two weeks, but I would suggest three weeks minimum for the same sort of treatment I had like I said Dr Berna is a miracle worker and everything ran perfectly and luckily we didn't run into any complications. 1st visit was X-Ray and discussing what treatment was best and how it would span out. 2nd visit was upper teeth prep, temporaries fitted. 3rd visit was lower teeth prep, temporaries fitted. 4th visit was temporaries removed, test with new crowns/veneers 5th Visit was crowned/veneers permanently fitted. There was little to no pain during the procedure as Dr Berna numbed all areas of my mouth per visit as she knew I had a phobia about dentists. As with all surgery based treatment, you will experience a little pain and discomfort in the healing process, but that's easily dealt with over the counter medication. I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking dental treatment. My smile is perfect. Thank you.

I was in Bodrum on holidays with my parents where one morning one of my fillings fell off and I needed to see a dentist to replace it. The dentist was very friendly and professional. She took x-rays and explain to me the whole process of what she was going to do. In the end, there were x2 fillings I had to replace and I also did teeth cleaning. I am very pleased with the service I received and I would highly recommend her.
