Excellent. Dr. Tony fitted a temporary bridge immediately, to replace my old broken one and within 10 days a perfect replacement that being modern, bettered the old. Dr. Tony was reassuring, quick and I had no discomfort inspite of a long drilling session. It was expensive - and I was captive, in other words I could not shop around but I have been a patient here before, so I knew it would be. Excellent. Attentive, punctual polite staff.

Repair of a Inguinal Hernia. I chose to go privately so that I could have the operation done on a day that suited me. I was seen by the consultant on Friday evening and had the operation the following Tuesday morning. I was charged 70€ for the consultation and 3,020€ for the complete treatment, private room, operation, lunch and dinner...everything. Not having had any experience before with private practice I have nothing to compare with, but it was worth the cost for me....this time! I chose this hospital as it was the nearest one to where I live. My experience was very good and perhaps even better than expected. Everyone I had contact with was Portuguese but spoke English well, and every single step of my day with whoever dealt with me, explained why this or that was being done, which I appreciated very much. Everyone was warm, friendly, helpful and efficient.

Firstly let me say I have recently been receiving poor dental treatment in the UK, Which has left me with a huge phobia about going to the dentist, I first attended This Surgery about a month ago, with a tooth which had a hole getting bigger by The day, my UK dentist said it would be extracted upon my return, so arrived here With the problem, it was niggling and the hole was getting bigger, so contacted The Surgery in Lagoa, to let them extract when the two dentists looked at the Tooth Xrays, they did extensive root canal treatment, and two hours after surgery, I had like a perfect tooth again, which is still perfect, The next day feeling my confidence restored in Surgeons,I asked the head surgeon Jao about implants, he took his time and told me of his procedures, and of course The price, and yesterday I had bone grafts and 4 implants fitted, It took about 4 hours In total, the two lads were magnificent, in their attitude, expertise, and understanding, And again a couple of hours after surgery, I felt fine and slept well, To tell the truth The hardest part for me has been not allowed to smoke, and my patches keep falling Off in the heat, However going back to the facts, these two surgeons are better and a credit to their profession, I am from Edinburgh and a genuine patient, and please Call me on 07709 288894 if you want any more information about how high I rate these guys. We come from Canada and were on vacation in Lagoa. My daughter had problems with her braces and neede immediate assistance. They did a great job and we were able to continue our vacation without any worries. The clinic was perfect, very clean and people were very professional.
